(TESTIMONY)

My steady girlfriend in 1974 was still Diane Stauder who was very good looking from Lorraine, Ohio. She found a job in Glenwood Springs at the world famous Hot Springs as a towel girl passing out towels and running the cash register at the thermally heated pool. 

I had won the Nastar qualifying championships mayne a second behind Pepi Steigler of Austria, a former Olympic Gold Medalist and ahead of Spider Sabich who was less than a second behind me in third/ Bob Beattie of World Pro Skiing who also ran Nastar and the World Pro Ski Tour was doubly the sports agent for Spider Sabich. Beattie proclaimed a three way tie/ All three of us were to be awarded a Zero National Nastar Handicap.

Asked by Beattie what I had been doing for training I responded.
