But we must not forget that the Russian military is murdering Ukrainian civilians as the price of Moscow’s self-induced humiliation—and that Russia must pay a price for these atrocities.

Russian television talk shows are a hallucinatory experience, a kind of febrile nightmare shot on sets that look like a dark mash-up of a manic.But the creepy star-chamber vibe and the vertigo-inducing camera work are perfectly suited to the deranged rantings of the hosts and guests. The Russian anchor Vladimir Solovyov is among the nastier pieces of work in : Nicknamed in Russia, he has called for the destruction of Kyiv and said that nuclear war with the West .
