Chapter 1

The driver opened the door, and with a deep blush, I scrambled out of the car after Sir. When I straightened, I gazed at the mansion and gasped.

The place was two stories high and surrounded by greenery. The cobblestone road circled a fountain. The road extended past the fountain to allow for parking. A car idled, waiting for its passengers to climb out.

My mouth snapped shut, and I dropped my gaze to my shoes. My last sighting was of a  man smirking at the top of the stone staircase leading to the front door.His black hair was slicked back, and the strong nose combined with sharp cheekbones, reminded me of Sir.

Brother, what a delightful surprise to see you here, the man yelled.

When we climbed the stairs, he hugged Sir and slapped him on the back.

Sir groaned.Greg, I live here.

My head snapped up, but I managed to keep my gaping to a minimum.He lives here? This was his house? What?!
