The transition to college is difficult for everyone, but it is especially difficult for athletes, who are dropped into a new, more competitive food chain.

Madison wrote a letter to Steve Dolan, the Penn track coach, about how she was feeling. She explained that although this had been difficult to put into words, she was going to
