The Boys in the Boat: Incredible true story behind George Clooney’s new film

George Clooney’s new film The Boys in the Boat hits screens in US cinemas on Christmas Day and will arrive in Britain early in January.

Based on Daniel James Brown’s New York-bestselling nonfiction novel of the same name, the movie tells the true story of the University of Washington rowing crew who represented the United States in the men's eight at the 1936 Summer Olympic games in Berlin.
