To my family,
Mum and Dad, thank you for the ever-growing lessons of life
you teach me and for providing me with the structure, giving
me the opportunity and the experiences to live curiously.
Utkarsh and Yash, life is a never ending rollercoaster,
remember to have fun, enjoy and learn from both
the highs and most importantly the lows.
Duchess, thank you for showing me how to
appreciate life and giving me a sense of calm
and clarity when I needed it the most.
You all mean the world to me and I love you.
You chose to pick me up, trust me you’re going to want to read the first page, then make your decision about me…
Take a peek inside…
Are you in the perfect, most ideal system you can be in? Who am I kidding, is that even possible? Of course not, but can you get as close to it as possible, maybe an excellent system, where you’re doing what you love, content with the way your life is and the direction it is heading in and absolutely thriving in the environment you’re in, all the time? Yes of course it is. You control the outcome; you control how it all shapes up. You chose to pick this book up because it caught your attention and if I have let you down all ready, then do the same with the book, put it back on the shelf you picked it up from or press the back button on the screen you are on. However, if there is even a little spark inside you, a voice saying, we can do better, then turn the page and begin reading, because the world around you is about to change, in fact, it is always and forever changing. The question is, are you ready to adapt to it?
I must caution you, once you embark on this journey, through the book, you need to know, you may lose people you called your friends, you may get laughed at, you may have no one supporting you through the process and you will probably have days where you wish you never started. You will have to be your coach sometimes and not allow yourself to stop and you will have to remember, when it comes to your objectives, be shameless, don’t worry about other people’s opinion and don’t worry about embarrassment, always give it a try! However, you need to understand, it is okay, this is the natural reaction to change and progress, it is the definition of advancement, some move forwards and if others don’t change or move proportionally, they get left behind. If you let others keep you behind, you too will never change, but the beauty of insignificance is that the world will move on, with or without you. Where do you want to be? I can testify to the fact that if you push through and I urge you to do so, you will come out of this journey a changed person, your thought process, your priorities and your drive to reach your objectives will intensify and you will be on a path you never thought you could walk on.

THE TALE ABOUT A KOMODO
AND A TORTOISE
m3.jpgF ollowing my previous book, I looked at myself in the mirror and something came over me, I was astonished to see a dragon, not any kind, it was a Komodo Dragon, in disbelief I looked at myself and there was no dragon around, I was scared….
The Komodo Guide has been built through several years of observation and experience. It incorporates the characteristics of the Great Komodo Dragon and the Giant Tortoise.
First, to introduce the Komodo Dragon, you may know that they are a species of reptile since the dragon
in their name. However, they aren’t a regular species of reptile, they are the longest living dragon
lizard species of reptile on the planet. What makes them so special is their ability to adapt to the everchanging terrain of our planet, the resilience to fight through anything in their way, to survive and last the longest. Additionally, they have a secret weapon at their disposal, they have the most venomous saliva in the animal kingdom. However, they aren’t the fastest on land, they aren’t the largest species to roam the planet and neither are they the deadliest, yet, they have ended up as one of the oldest, out beating those who tower over them in those specific categories. Another general reptilian trait that they have by virtue of being part of the species is that they shed their skin, refreshing themselves periodically.
Secondly, introducing the Giant Tortoise, I’m sure you know what a tortoise is and what they do. You may know that they don’t really do much, you may see them as extremely lazy and boring animals. However, once again they have the longest lifespans, they grow to phenomenal sizes and as portrayed in the Kung Fu Panda trilogy, they are extremely wise due to their multi-generational experiences and patience, to let the tectonic plates of the world shape their environment in which they adapt to survive.
Now, you might be wondering why I am giving you a run down on two seemingly random animals, that I may have just chosen from a basket of random animals from the jungle.
However, as a precedence of this book, what starts off as random is usually followed up by a link and then the link forms a chain and the chain forms a structure, just wait for it and keep on pushing ahead!!
What this book and the school of thought the Komodo Guide employs is, is that versatility, resilience and a turtle patience are the bedrock to form a sustainable, long lasting, competitive and productive mindset. Letting go of the past and moving on from mistakes rather than dwelling on them (as explained in my previous book, Past Dwellers) allows one to update and tackle problems with a fresh perspective, always staying on their toes and updating their thought process. Yes, it may take a long while to achieve your goals (once again, it depends on the amount of effort you put in), however, none of them will be missed and the foundation on which they will be built on would be rock solid. Where others fail to find the balance, a Komodo Mindset is able to balance various skills that may seem like they are average in, but applying the gestalt theory, where the whole is greater than the sum of its parts, the balance between those several skills, allows a Komodo to reach heights never imagined before, out-beating their competition. The whole game of life is finding the balance, what we call the sweet-spot
.
Additionally, their hidden weapon of a venomous saliva, combined with the patience of a turtle, allows a Komodo to prepare themselves, lay low and undetected until the right moment to strike and when they do, there is no escape!
Are you ready to peek into the mind’s eye of a Komodo Dragon? Are you ready for the Komodo Guide?

INTRODUCTION
I would first like to give you a little background about me and what this book is really about.
I have studied and been interested in physics for over 10 years, it has always made everyday activities and events exciting for me. It has helped me form a disciplined mindset, which I presume it does to everyone who studies it or is interested in it since it is such a captivating and fascinating subject. It provides one with a ground-up approach, allowing one to break everything down and rebuild it with a greater understanding from first principles, the very basic form of the topic, object or scenario at hand. When you begin seeing the world through the lens of physics, at least for me, you can never go back, because you are then never bored. The nature around you, from the autumn leaves that fall from trees, the snow that builds up in your backyard, the rain that falls from the sky, gusts of wind that blow to the machines you use every day to make life easier, or the interactions within your body, the hot, the cold, all of which gets infinitely more interesting because you can break them down and understand them from their very basic forms, atoms and even further, sub-atomic particles and their interactions, you start understanding the why (more in Chapter 6). Then build it back up into how a collection of those can form the infinite vastness of the universe and space, the super massiveness of blackholes, leading you to the edge of imagination and still pushing it further, pushing you to ask questions that pique your curiosity.
Additionally I have been studying Psychology hand-in-hand with Physics. I have always been interested in what ticks the human race and how we actually think, understanding human behaviour and psychology from the inside out, once again breaking down our thought process into building blocks through cognitive neuroscience to then be able to create models of how one may think by building them back up and then using that to understand how a collective may think, since at the end of the day our world is run not by individuals but by a collection of them and has done so since the beginning of civilisation.
Putting two and two together and a few personal experiences have led me to gain a better understanding of certain aspects of the world around us which I would like to share with you in this book.
For those who this book appeals to, I have a few disclaimers I would like you to keep in mind as you read through.
I have written this book, not as a criticism of any system from my perspective nor to voice my opinion. I haven’t made the system so I ask to myself, who am I to question or criticise it? I wrote this book because I see some gaps, some missing links yet to be filled. I do not claim to know the only
way to fill these gaps, I myself haven’t reached the freedom I want, I am still on the journey, however, the processes detailed in this book have helped me in numerous ways to make headway towards my freedom and when I see a gap, I cannot unsee it.
Our world is full of people who make excuses to comfort themselves, who have no willpower to stay away from distractions and focus on their objective, who want everything instantly and aren’t willing to put in the effort, what I call the era of instant gratification has taken a hold on us. I was one of these people and once I went from those who don’t to those who do, I choose the latter every single time. For every scenario I say those who don’t
, it’s because I have been there or observed it closely, at least experienced it in some way and I have found ways to get out of it or been involved in one getting out of it and form a vision for where I want to go at the moment and of course this keeps changing, but gets clearer. I have detailed those methods to you in this book.
I see life and interactions as a very intricate train circuit with several stops and junctions along the way. Now, people can climb aboard and disembark the trains wherever they please, if they so happen to be in your cabin or on the same train as you, heading the same way, that’s incredible! However, if not, that shouldn’t matter, as long as you have a faint idea of where your train is heading, which will probably change and develop over time, just as a film reel develops and gets clearer till it arrives. In this book, I present to you a guide to building your own methodology to form a vision, it’s up to you whether you use it, don’t use it or use part of it, or how you use it. I wish you the best of luck and I only ask you to have patience while you read it, some concepts unfold through the progression of the book and to truly understand them, all I ask is for your patience.
Here are my observations:
I want to start out by outlining a few of the basic observations of our world. Everyone has their own world, of course, but there are some aspects which overlap, almost like a foundation where each one of us builds our own world, just like Minecraft, the popular building game. Our lives as unique as they are, are fundamentally run by an instruction booklet and a way to bring those instructions to life. The booklet I am referring to is the DNA code,
