The Witches House

Wendy proudly looked at the boys

And said the following in an

Inspirational voice that enthralled even The Pirates

                      That’s The Witch’s House

               Its cry                        Was horrible

Before those vicious claws could get a grip on him

Before the bitter wind froze everything                     

It was bottom-heavy, with squat powerful legs       

There was a lot going on-

All the useful things

Allen turned around just in time to see her

Disappear into The Witch’s House

Into The Beast’s tender underbelly

Its only vulnerable spot

     Pa rubbed his back but he didn’t complain

     A glint of orange among the green

Must be short for

Dim of wit

Got her tail caught

Then her bag broke

Hook walked toward Wendy

To turn her head

So that she could watch the boys jump to their fate

Then they all put on blindfolds

Eyeballs

Hearts

And Brains

What Venus can worm under the skin?

VAMPIRE MOTH

Elephants, cattle, and deer are among the mammals

It likes to suck on at night

          -Toward the bear-

He growled loudly, his eyes sparking with anger

           -Toward the oft ignored second planet from the sun-

These are my last words dear Boys

Moon devours Venus in fiery solstice ring

Our knowledge of Venus is limited

-Firmly-

Name of nature

Eyes twinkling

And Then They Made A Daisy Chain

Most of us were too scared
