WANTED:
U.S. REPRESENTATIVE
Do you like meeting new people? Is it your dream to help others solve their problems? Is working with others a strength? Are you a great fundraiser? Have you ever been curious about what a U.S. representative does? If you answered yes
to any of these questions, then becoming a member of Congress may be for you!
Requirements for Being a U.S. Representative
There are three requirements for this job. Candidates must be:
at least 25 years old
U.S. citizens for at least seven years before being elected
residents of the state they want to represent
High school and college degrees are not required for this job. However, they are strongly recommended.
