"Her name is Penelope," said Anastasia calmly, "and she is my most recent cattle." She neglected to tell them Penelope had been with her for one year, for Nashira would be displeased to know Penelope had been hidden away. 

 

Nashira was still staring unblinkingly at Penelope, who stared back at her with mingled fear and fascination. 

 

"Undress her," whispered Nashira. 

 

At this, Victoria and Martina paused in their card game, and now everyone watched as Anastasia drew close behind Penelope and unzipped the back of her tight party dress.
