PAPA’S LOVE

What better way to begin this series where we are diving into a deeper knowledge of the Father’s heart, than with words from Papa God. Even when we reflect on why Christ went to the cross for us, what comes shining through, more brightly each day, is the greatness of the Father’s amazing, unfailing, extravagant love.

A few years ago in a morning prayer session, the Lord provided us with an image of a big passionate, tempestuous, whirling stormy sea, and said that is the nature of His love for us. He then showed us a picture of a small still swimming pool, and said in our thinking we see His Love for us like a small pool…oops! Maybe you can relate to this habit of putting Papa God in a box and limiting His Power to fit your understanding. As we enter this heart engagement series, our hope is that you uncover a new understanding of Papa’s Heart such that you feel how deep, how wide, how passionate His Love for us is. May your heart come to know His better.

Bill Johnson, always says, there shouldn’t be any thought in your head that isn’t in Papa’s head. In other words, your idea of Papa’s love for you has to line up with the reality of Papa’s Love. If it doesn’t, then you are believing a lie. If it lines up, you can then begin to respond passionately, extravagantly and wholeheartedly to Papa’s Love.

This is what gives Papa greatest pleasure. We can’t have an orphan spirit when we are called to be sons and daughters.

Jesus said He came to reveal the Father to us (John 5:19). The world is desperate to know a Father that loves
