Riotous Rhymes - Leon De Kock
The Coming Journey
You’ll Dream,
And as you Dream,
You’ll fall,
And while you fall,
You’ll look,
And what you’ll see,
Will be –
More Dreams.
Desert Wind Song
White Desert sand in this land of Death lie,
Beauty in silence come wondering by,
As winds on this plane of Divinity sweep,
Through mystical ages the sand dunes do creep.
Here Life and Death mate,
And bring forth their young,
Sun-bleached the bones’ fate,
On Desert-floor flung!
Blue skies and white tides,
The Great Horse of time rides,
Blackness in cold night,
Burn silver with stars bright,
Through gossamer clouds shines Heaven’s desire,
Gracing the Desert with Moon’s silver fire.
Dawn wakes up slowly,
With sleep in her eyes,
The Ghosts of the Desert,
In desolation cries.
Here they roam,
This their home,
This beautiful land,
Of burning white sand.
Death Gave Life
Winter cold was creeping quiet,
When from the South came Blizzard’s Riot.
The city streets were lifeless, bare,
Tension
