About this ebook
The other poems in the book very in subject, but tend to stick to a darker, bleaker outlook on things.

Acknowledgments:
I would like to start of with thanking my family for always being supportive of my creative efforts. Whether it was in my rather poorly drawn comics of the past, or my short stories and poems.
I would like to thank my friends who have read my various writings and given me support and for your constructive criticisms that have made me try harder and be better with each new thing.
I would like to thank the following friends especially, for they are the ones that have been there through all of it. In no particular order, Jessica Stowell, Ashley Satterfield, Hayley Mcgee, Jessica Brabner, Adam Novotny, Sarah Steadman and Julie Umphenour,
Finally, I would like to dedicate this book to my parents. I really am truly sorry I turned out so odd.

Glory to War
We saw it bleed,
The machine of war,
During the years of peace.
Then the war swept across the land,
And brought the death,
Of many children, women, and men.
The men who swore to protect,
Killed men who swore to protect.
The beast crawled up from,
The depths of a place,
That will not be named.
He slaughtered all he came across,
And ate the bodies of the dead,
And released masses of flesh,
That did their masters bidding.
Then a force of light,
Came blinding down from the heavens,
And swept across the land.
The end of a time came,
And for an age, peace reigned.
The Dark Lord’s Quest
Upon a throne of crystal,
Surrounded by golden flames.
The Dark Lord of the Emerald Lands,
Speaks ancient words of terror.
To claim the holy castle,
To encase the good in dark flames,
To turn the sacred forests
