About this ebook
Still treating the same subjects of God, love and life, the author presents yet another addition to this collection of Golden Pieces. The poems remain short, light and direct and are still a good source of inspiration in this "Train called life". Great read for relaxing and self-indulging to mind and soul and spirit, this book, just like the

Preamble
When I sit and ponder over the state of things upon this Earth of ours, two vivid scenarios always surge on my mind, both just as disturbing and plainly disconcerting…
First I see human beings, in a long, non-ending and slow procession. Some of us are in a hurry and so they pass you by, shoving you in their rush, trying to get ahead. But we’re all in a tunnel, dark and somber, with strange noises emerging here and there, startling most of us. So we’re walking, some quietly, others are bawling for some reasons. But since it is pitch dark, we all bump into things for we don’t see what they are; good things or nasty things, of those no one can tell since we don’t see their true nature. But the sad part of the story is that we all have been given a flashlight at the entrance of the tunnel and we all could, once we decide, reach in the right pocket, grab the flashlight and clearly see where we’re heading…. Most of us choose deliberately not to do so…
Then I see this big, super highway and we’re zooming on it at great speed. The driver decided to get off for some mundane reasons at the wrong exit. Many people are shouting at him that it’s the wrong exit but he wouldn’t listen…the slope of this exit is downward, slippery and steep and it leads to a nasty dead-end…. But he just wouldn’t listen.
Long Time
For so long I have stayed silent,
For so long I have not written.
My inspiration was in Lent;
Words and ideas shattered, smitten.
At the bureau I rarely sat,
Nothing compelled me to do so.
My pen and paper ceased to chat;
So naturally I just lay low.
If I said that I was worried
Then I would have twisted a fact.
Inspiration can’t be hurried
And with her I had made a pact;
She was to feed my mind subtly
And I, to write down what I sense.
All this to be done silently,
All this, under shade of light trance.
The talent once given to you
Is yours till death do you apart.
Nothing to say, nothing to do,
From you it will never depart.
I vegetated for a while,
Idled like humans often do.
But nothing changed my given style,
It rather improves the years through.
And one day touched by this angel,
One day nudged softly, I recall,
One day all my clouds she dispel’,
One day I was no more to stall.
Writing itself is such an art
Where you daydream such a great deal.
Reverie always puts you apart,
In so doing you get your fill.
You get to write down lovely lines,
Of your crowd you ease the hunger.
But always the content defines
Style and feelings rendered stronger.
So here I am, my lovely folks,
Back on the saddle, God’s willing.
Hope you enjoy my brand new strokes,
Hope my mind she keeps on filling.
The Rule of Immanuel
(Isaiah chap 11)
Indeed a shoot shall sprout from the stem of Jesse
And from his roots a bud shall blossom and you’ll see
The Spirit of the Lord dwelling deep within Him,
A Spirit of wisdom who sees through every scheme,
A Spirit of counsel, of everlasting strength,
A Spirit of knowledge, God fearing at great length.
And His delight shall be the fear of His dear Lord;
Him He comes to reveal of a common accord.
He won’t judge by the look, nor decide by hearsay.
The poor will find a nook, the afflicted, a way.
He shall strike the ruthless with the strength of His Word
And from His Breath alone the wicked blood will curd.
Justice shall be the band around His divine waist
And faithfulness the belt that His people will taste.
And the wolf and the lamb shall guest in the same den,
The leopard and the kid will run around often.
The calf and young lion shall then browse side by side
And playfully the child will safely be their guide.
The cow will be neighbor of the bear it once feared,
Their codlings will take rest while lovingly they peer.
The lion shall eat hay and the ox share the load
And the baby shall play in the cobra’s abode,
And the child rest his hand right on the adder’s lair;
So my holy mountain will be free of despair.
Then the whole world will know at the sound of Nowel,
The awesome Gift bestowed, the Child Immanuel.
The Masquerade
Every golden, crimson sunset
Fading on a swampy meadow,
Within every bosom begets
A deluge of sighs that it pets
Where shivers joy, shivers sorrow.
Sketches display what they hold bare,
Souls in
