I met a girl last night

Her voice had something magical about it

Her eyes were hazel brown

So free was her spirit, even gravity couldn’t hold her down

I met a girl last night

Her skin darker than yours and mine

Hypnotic was the sway of her hips, a pity I couldn’t make her mine

With no care in the world, she wine

In the beauty of her skin, my eyes would dine

Slow was the music and eternity, it seemed we had

So fast flew time, before we knew it the night was dead

I met a girl last night

Closer for a kiss she leaned in

Goodbye she whispered in between

On my lips, the taste of hers lingered

Eternal

Since time began

The river has loved the ocean

Everyday she flows to him

Journeying across the land

Going through twists and turns

Just to get close to him

And be engulfed by his presence

Each time

They meet

He opens up his arms

And embraces her

Becoming one with her

He sees all her struggles

The journey to him

The perils she faced

You and I are bound to each other for all eternity, I am you and you are me
