Follow the True God and Inherit Everlasting Life
Many Pastors and Evangelicals avoid controversial topics. Pastors and Evangelicals are responsible to bring to light all issues in the Bible, not just the ones that make us feel good. Some Pastors and Evangelicals use difficult words and descriptions to describe Biblical concepts; this book doesn’t. Many people claim to be Christians and are fooling themselves. This book will help them to become True Christians, and Inherit Everlasting Life.
The whole idea of this book is to highlight the importance of being Born Again
and receiving the Holy Spirit
, as mentioned in the New Covenant Jesus gave us.
This book is written in the way a freshman in high school can understand it, and is in big letters so seniors can view it more easily as well. The author’s chapter on Boasting hasn’t been written about, to the author’s knowledge in any other books.
The following information is to help the reader to more easily understand how this book is arranged:
Many people around the world claim to be Christians. However, many use the word loosely and without understanding its true meaning and value. Where possible, the author uses the word True Christian
.
The word Truth
means all the words in the Holy Bible and Truth is another name for Jesus Christ.
Capitalizing and Underlining particular words and Scriptures are to show the significance of those words.
Triune and Trinity mean the same. In this book, the author will use the word Triune.
Most Bible Scriptures in this book are from the New International Version, for short, the NIV Bible.
Scripture verses are always given with each topic. However, there are many more Scriptures for each topic that aren’t quoted.
Pictures are from the internet.

Chapter 1
Can we believe in the Bible?
A. Archeology studies, for the last 150 years, have not come out with any evidence that deems any part of the Bible, whether it is historical or geographical, not to be true. In fact, many of the hundreds and thousands of excavations have supported the Bible.
B. The discovery of the Dead Sea Scrolls in 1947, in a cave on the western side of the Dead Sea, had over 800 pieces of the Old Testament and the whole book of Isaiah. When the pieces were put together, this discovery supported the accuracy of the Old Testament, with only minimal differences. Most of these books were from the first and second century B.C.
C. Currently there are over 24,000 manuscripts, portions, and versions of the New Testament that complement each other.
D. Approximately 27% of the entire Bible contains prophecies. There are 1,239 prophecies in the Old Testament, and 578 in the New Testament. Those prophecies that were supposed to have already taken place in time-have certainly happened.
E. There was over 540 people who witnessed the existence of Jesus Christ after His resurrection, and this happened on at least 10 different occasions.
F. Predating the Dead Sea Scrolls discovery is the findings of a Jewish burial, in 1979, that had two scrolls, called the ‘Ketef Hinnom Scrolls’ (in a cave), that dated to the late seventh century B.C. or early sixth century B.C. These scrolls contained the name Yahweh and priestly prayers from the book of Numbers. As of 2021, these scrolls are about 2,700 years old.
G. There have been many other discoveries, including villages, burials, and artifacts that support the Bible.
The Importance of the Bible
The first 5 books of the Bible (the Torah) are so holy to the Jews, that the Bible is treated as if it was a human. The Torah is never touched by the speaker. The Rabbi uses a finger made of wood or metal to read it. When the Torah becomes unreadable, it is buried in a human Jewish cemetery, just like a person.
The Bible is the top seller of all books in the world. As of 2020, the New Testament has been written in over 1,500 different languages. Sadly, many put it on their shelves or their coffee tables.
The Truth of the Bible
Hebrews 4:12 says, the Word of God is living and powerful, and in other Bibles it says, the Word of God is quick and powerful. The Greek word for quick means ‘alive’.
2 Timothy 3:16-17 - All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting, and training in righteousness, so that the servant of God may be thoroughly equipped for every good work.
1 Corinthians 15:1-4 - Now, brothers and sisters, I want to remind you of the gospel I preached to you, which you received and on which you have taken your stand. By this gospel, you are saved, if you hold firmly to the word I preached to you. Otherwise, you have believed in vain. For what I received, I passed on to you as of first importance, that Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures, that He was buried, that He was raised on the third day according to the Scriptures.
John 17:17 - Sanctify them by the truth; your word is truth.
John 8:31-32 - To the Jews who had believed Him, Jesus said, ‘If you hold to my teaching, you are really my disciples. Then you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free.’
The Consequences of Adding and Subtracting from the Bible
The True Church, also called a Bible Church, will follow what God says in the Bible. Here’s a good way to separate the True Church from false churches (religions).
Deuteronomy 4:2 - You shall not add to the word that I command you, nor take from it, that you may keep the commandments of the Lord your God that I command you.
Deuteronomy 12:32 - Everything that I command you, you shall be careful to do. You shall not add to it or take from it.
Revelation 22:18 - I warn everyone who hears the words of the prophecy of this book. If anyone adds to them, God will add to him the plagues described in this book.
Revelation 22:19 - And if anyone takes away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God will take away his share in the tree of life and in the holy city, which are described in this book.
Galatians 1:6-9 - I am astonished that you are so quickly deserting him, who called you in the grace of Christ, and are turning to a different gospel; not that there is another one, but there are some who trouble you and want to distort the gospel of Christ. But, even if we or an angel from heaven should preach to you a gospel contrary to the one we preached to you, let him be accursed [cursed, damned, doomed, condemned]. As we have said before, so now I say again: If anyone is preaching to you a gospel contrary to the one you received, let him be accursed.
1 Corinthians 4:6 - Now, brothers and sisters, I have applied these things to myself and Apollos for your benefit, so that you may learn from us the meaning of the saying, Do not go beyond what is written.
Then You will not be puffed up in being a follower of one of us over against the other.
1 Thessalonians 4:8 - therefore, he who rejects this instruction does not reject man, but God.
Titus 2:1 - You must teach what is written in accordance with sound doctrine.
2 John 1:7 - Many deceivers, who do not acknowledge Jesus Christ as coming in the flesh, have gone out in the world. As it says in verse 10, if anyone comes to you and doesn’t bring this teaching (of Jesus Christ), do not take him into your house or welcome him.
Man Made Rules shows you don’t Trust in God
Mark 7:7 - These people honor me with their lips, but their hearts are far from me. They worship me in vain; their teachings are merely human rules.
Isaiah 29:13 - These people come near to me with their mouth and honor me with their lips, but their hearts are far from me. Their worship of me is made up only of rules taught by men.
Jesus to the Pharisees-Matthew 15:8-9: You hypocrites! Isaiah was right when he prophesied about you: These people honor me with their lips, but their hearts are far from me. They worship me in vain; their teachings are merely human rules.
Colossians 2:8 - See to it that no one takes you captive through hollow and deceptive philosophy, which depends on human tradition and the elemental spiritual forces of this world, rather than on Christ.
Colossians 2:22-23 - These rules, which have to do with things that are all destined to perish with use, are based merely on human commands and teachings. Such regulations, indeed, have an appearance of wisdom, with their self-imposed worship, their false humility, and their harsh treatment of the body, but they lack any value in restraining sensual indulgence.
Psalms 118:8-9 - It is better to take refuge in the Lord than to trust in humans. It is better to take refuge in the Lord than to trust in princes.
Proverbs 3:5-6 - Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to Him, and He will make your paths straight.
Psalms 146:3 - Do not put your trust in princes, in human beings, who cannot save.
Isaiah 2:22 - Stop trusting in mere humans, who have but a breath in their nostrils. Why hold them in esteem?
Proverbs 30:5-6 - Every word of God is flawless; He is a shield to those who take refuge in Him. Do not add to His words, or He will rebuke you and prove you a liar.
Proverbs 28:26 - Those who trust in themselves are fools, but those who walk in wisdom are kept safe.
Acts 17:11 - Now, the Berean Jews were of more noble character than those in Thessalonica, for they received the message with great eagerness and examined the Scriptures every day to see if what Paul said was true.
Who is responsible for what is in the Bible
2 Peter 1:20 - Above all, you must understand that no prophecy of Scripture came about by the prophets own interpretation; for prophecy never had its origin in the will of man, but men spoke from God as they were carried along by the Holy Spirit.
2 Timothy 3:16 - All scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting, and training in righteousness so that the man of God may be thoroughly equipped for every good work.
Galatians 1:11 - I want you to know, brothers and sisters, that the gospel I preached is not of human origin. I did not receive it from any man, nor was I taught it; rather, I received it by revelation from Jesus Christ.
How to Read the Bible
Most of the Bible, you read it word for word, as a matter of fact. Passages that say something like You should cut off your right hand and toss it into the sea
are using figurative (fig-gry-uh tiv) words, and should not be taken literally. At times, the Bible author uses allegorical (al-le-gor-i-cal) stories, maybe using characters, events, or symbols to help get their point across or to help to understand difficult spiritual concepts. Most of the parables use allegorical words and so do some of the authors in various Books.
The Bible has many different names
The Word of the Lord, The Holy Scriptures, The Gospel, The Living Word, The Book of the Law, The Law of the Lord, The Word of God, The Message of Christ, The Good News, The Scroll, The Sword of the Spirit, The Scriptures, and the Truth. The word Bible
is not in the original manuscripts.
In this book, the author will refer mostly to the Bible verses as the Scriptures and the Truth. Jesus is known as the Truth
.
The first two chapters of the Bible begin with the creation and the last two chapters of Revelation begin with the re-creation of the heavens and the earth.
Jesus’ death on the cross is the most important event this world has ever seen. At the last moment of Jesus’ life, He cried out on the cross, and inside the Temple in Jerusalem, the curtain between the Holy Place and the Most Holy Place (the immediate presence of the Almighty God) was torn from top to
