To Bean- for being the fluffiest of boys
and to TanTan- for being the cutest queen
I owe my happiness to you
PART 1: The ME EXPERIENCING
Words Full of Magic
A magical ball on winter solstice,
with a princess yet revealed,
an evil witch that longs to claim her,
a plot that’s still concealed.
A woman soon to be a mother,
clutching her trembling hands,
hoping that this time,
her womb listens to her demands.
A girl stepping out of court,
from a rape case that she won,
walks to embrace the man,
who forced her rapist to atone.
The writer spills out their soul,
into pages I unfold,
with ink spilled on paper,
and words chock-full of gold.
So why would you prefer,
to stay in a cruel world,
where magic is make-believe,
and hate is deserved.
For me I’d rather
to jump into a story,
a million lives I can live,
and never have to worry.
Leech
She was a hollowed shell
as empty as could be.
Inside of her
there was a gaping hole
where malicious spirits
could enter with ease.
And the emptiness of her
was not able
to fathom wicked things,
when it, itself, is so hollow
and inconsequential.
And so he entered,
in the most uninhibited fashion,
and she was happy,
so happy,
for her soul to feel full once more.
The devil in him,
was contented as well,
to have refuge and safety in her,
a cocoon of delicate warmth.
For it is easy,
to leech on a soul
that accepts the comfort,
of valueless words,
and it is easy,
for anything,
to look like it’s love,
when you look at it,
from the gaze of lonely eyes.
Camping
The night takes its time to arrive,
but at last
the moon peeks out from the clouds,
and she feels a spark of joy.
She’s waited a year
