About this ebook

Acne is a skin condition that arises when dead skin cells and oils clog hair follicles. Acne appears as pimples, whiteheads, or blackheads. Acne affects people of all ages, but teenagers are the most affected.

Although there are excellent acne treatments, acne can persist for a long time. Blisters and bumps take a long time to heal, and the more one fades, the more blisters appear.

Depending on the severity of the condition, acne can cause emotional stress and skin damage. The earlier you start treatment, the less likely you are to have such problems. This book will teach you about the causes of acne, how to treat it, and how to take care of your skin.

Acne is more frequent among teens, especially those between the ages of 12 and 17, as previously stated. Acne usually clears up in your early twenties and can be treated with over-the-counter medications. Although acne affects both girls and boys equally, there are certain variances to be aware of. Due to hormonal and aesthetic changes, young males are more prone to develop severe and long-lasting acne, whereas women might develop recurrent or intermittent acne throughout maturity.
