veryone wants healthy, glowing skin. But with the dizzying array of new products and trends claiming all kinds of results, it's not always easy to know where to start. Truth is, the key to healthy-looking skin starts with a good skin care regimen — and it doesn't have to be complicated. Less is more when it comes to skin care, according to the American Academy of Dermatology. Keep it simple, and focus on three steps: wash, moisturize, and apply sunscreen using products right Wash your face twice a day with lukewarm water — not hot — and a non-abrasive cleanser without alcohol. Gently massage the cleanser into your skin, using your fingertips instead of a washcloth or sponge, which can irritate the skin. Rinse with lukewarm water and pat dry. While your skin is still damp, apply a quarter-sized dollop of moisturizer to lock in hydration and protect your skin's barrier. Apply a broad-spectrum sunscreen with an SPF of 30 or higher and wear it every day. Dermatologists agree that wearing sunscreen is one of the best — and easiest — ways to protect your skin's appearance and health at any age.
