FOREWORD

I vividly recall the day, when I first met Avinash Rai in the year 2001. His Persona then and today both have been exemplary as there is so much to learn and follow him. I can say with great conviction because I have seen him transform from a successful businessman to a person who followed his heart and passion for life. Since the inception of his career, he had never shied from innovating and designing new products for the Indian/International fashion market. At the time when his competitors were busy reproducing age-old stuff year after year, he went on innovating and improving the techniques that introduced high fashion in the Indian Knitwear Industry. His name was a brand to reckon with. Although his journey of life had been a great success, with fame and money, yet he was restless and discontent; he had zeal and fire to do something more precious and dear to him. He often said that ‘something is holding me back.…. I am feeling caged.….. Maybe it’s time for me to say Goodbye to this corporate world.’ He always has been in the lead role in every phase of his life; he had his share of ups and downs, but here too, his persistence yielded, and he was finally able to unshackle from the chores of the professional world and begin a new realm of life. 

He is from the business world.
