About this ebook

How would you like to explore a poetry chapbook that has one part written from a psychedelic landscape, and another part that has more of mental health-related themes? Then this is the book for you. Written by the multiply neurodivergent, queer, nonbinary Lily Maureen O'Nan, this chapbook of poetry is their first to ever be published in any form, despite years of writing. It covers the timespan of 2015-2016 in the first part and the year of 2019 in the second part. Be prepared for an interdimensional exploration of the mind of someone who has been through years of trauma, and has gone into remission for the most part from C-PTSD, and is also autistic and on the ADHD and bipolar spectrums.

    About the Author

    PART ONE: SURREALITY

    2015-2016

    Orange fades grey.

    Tomorrow will be another day.

    Side-swashed,

    And backwashed.

Like splintered crayon on the ground.

    Flying, kaleidoscopic intrinsic,

    Whereabouts.

    The fly’s nest is in,

    The pond.

    Without thoughtless,

    Carelessness,

    Or social reprieve.

    Circumstantial obligations without,

    Foundation.

    Provides the masculine and feminine,

    Within.

    A means to navigate towards,

    The Sun.

    **

    Swept up infinite currents of,

    Matter and awareness.

    Falling ever so sliding,

    With timeless effervescence.

    Triangular waves of consciousness.

Look a little on the sunny side,

    As Ray Davies brings another,

    Day.

    Melody and full brass section.

    Sliding back into rabbit,

    Hole.

Holding Alice and squandering true liberty,

And flowing out like dusty shrines.

    Smoldering that world.

    Falling forward,

    Ever so pleasantly.

    Folding sing-song lullabies,

    That forever dream.

I wonder if I am Bela Lugosi.

    It’s that time of year.

    I am everyone and everything.

    Sullenly implying left-wing politics,

    To the rodeo pigs of,

    Kentucky.

    **

Holding up stances that can save the,

    Human race.

    Vanishing vanished.

    Breathing wind into broken robots.

    Robust, with networking,

    And status.

    Trypta-know what I
