About this ebook

Do you feel stuck or stressed, tangled in the web of your own mind? It’s time to expand your awareness and perception of your current reality in order to create space for new possibilities to arise.
The brain is an anatomical feature, but the mind is shapeless and formless. If it is shapeless and formless, you can make it whatever you want, in a way that serves your best interests. Whatever you have got going on internally pours over into the external world and your experience of it. We can cultivate inner resiliency through expanded mental awareness and steadiness, riding the wave of life and not being beaten down by it.
The way we experience life has to do with the lenses through which we see the world. The more you are aware of your own lenses, the more opportunities you have to uncover your blind spots. When you uncover your blind spots, you increase your awareness. Increased awareness yields increased possibilities. Therefore, instead of perfection, the goal here is to achieve as much congruency as you can in any area of your life. Take stock, reflect, recalibrate, take action, and up the game.

    PREFACE

An Overview of What This Book Is About

Oftentimes, we get drowned out by the chaos and demands of the world in which we feel stuck or lost.

    • Are you happy with where you are in your life right now?

    • Did you hit a plateau in your life and feel stuck? Stressed?

    • Do you feel trapped in life?

    • Do you feel like you are running on the same hamster wheel, over and over again, no matter how many times you changed jobs, relationships, etc.?

    • Do you feel like life is either going 100 miles an hour or 0 miles an hour?

    • Not quite sure what you want in life? Are you on autopilot? Lost your compass?

These are often symptoms of some disconnection within the self. When you lose that connection, you may feel less grounded or more off-center. In a way, you lose access to your inner core or your power center, where your personal power and inner compass lie. Losing that connection or having less access to it may impede your ability to create the destiny that you truly desire in your heart and soul.

Everyone has some form of compass, in one way or another, conscious or unconscious. You either follow your soul’s inner compass, or you subscribe to the default programming of your environment. Maybe you are half and half, in limbo and in conflict with yourself. The degree to which you are aware of and connected to your power center, including your inner compass, depends on your level of self-awareness and how in tune you are with your self. The connection to this power center directly correlates to your quality of life.

Are you actively engaging and optimizing your power center, or are you living life by default, according to the autopilot programming of your environment? In truth, we are never disconnected from ourselves. We just haven’t fully realized and embodied it yet. The journey of coming
