About this ebook

They both lived in the heavens holding prominent places among the stars. One of peaceful springs and waters, the other a symbol of darkness and resilience. Now, both are on Earth, each with a different vision. Scorpius in search of Hell’s Gate snatches all lost souls that live among us to form his army. Pegasus searching for peace lives amongst the humans as one of them. When darkness reaches its peak the war will begin. All manner of evils will be released against mankind unless Pegasus and the scientists that rescued him can close forever the gate that releases them.

    RARE SIGHTINGS

The skies unusually darkening for this time of day went unnoticed by most people had caught the eye of space scientist and researcher Richard Blackstone. Witnessing phenomenal activity the night before while studying Stephan’s Quintet in the constellation Pegasus he was not about to miss anything. Conference calls all day to colleagues turned up nothing. Had he been the only witness to a rare space oddity? If so, it was the ultimate prize any scientist would like to be noted for. Whatever he saw was rare indeed.

Turning his telescope to the northern skies eruptions or small explosions then bursts of light could be seen erupting parallel to a small mass of darkness as it glided across Pegasus. Nothing like anything he had ever seen in his years of study compared to this. Had he stumbled upon the unknown? Was there anyone else out there watching as he was? Lucky for him he had his recorder on filming the occurrence. For the moment he must concentrate on the strange darkness outside his window. All eyes turned towards the skies was a storm approaching?

Phone ringing Richard recognized a familiar voice from earlier in the day. An old colleague, Dale Shockey, was calling having placed the phone on speaker he could listen as Dale spoke.

Looking towards the sky, we are witnessing what is thought to be a black hole that has awakened from a decades-long sleep. Astronomers and scientists like me are enthusiastic. It is also noted earlier what appeared to be a comet out of control of its’ solar system heading into Pegasus. None so named thus far we greet it enthusiastically. There is no escape for Pegasus. Are you there old comrade? asked the voice over the phone.

Richard who had run into his outer office pushed the skylight switch and was maneuvering his telescope into position. He must see this. There it was, streaking across the skies into Pegasus.

Running into his office he grabbed the phone before it cut off and exclaimed, "Yes, I am here. Never saw anything like this before I raced out to the skylight
