About this ebook
Two alpha shifters claim they are my fated mate. The goddess doesn't give you two mates. How will i know which is truly meant to be mine?
Kat - Two men have made official fated mate claims to me, and I'm not old enough to recognize either of them as my mate. Both of them cocky alphas, the opposite of my position as omega of my pack. While I want a family someday, today is not that day. Tomorrow doesn't look good either. Yet here I am, with a choice I never wanted to make.
Nash - I've known that Kat was my mate since the moment I met her. Did it help that she was naked at the time? Of course! But ever since that day, I've thought of nothing else than making her mine. I've been counting the days until she is old enough to recognize me as her mate, and I'm not about to let some hack alpha known for his cruelty take her away from me at the last minute. I'm a peaceful man, but I will fight for my mate.
Will Kat be forced to leave her pack and learn to survive as an omega in the cruel Roxboro pack, or will her savior appear in the form of a great white wolf?
Willow Cove Shifters is a serial following the four Burke siblings in the quest to find and claim their fated mates, with a new part releasing each month of 2022.
Intended for mature audiences 18+ for bad words, bad guys getting what they deserve and good girls learning to be bad with their mates.

Margeaux Nix is a pen name for my paranormal books. I also write contemporary/erotic romance under the pen name J. Silence. I never thought I'd like 'shifter' books and then I read one and quickly devoured the entire 10 book series. I was hooked! It didn't take long for me to fall in love with fated mates, alpha heroes and the women that love them. When I started writing shifters, my intention was 'just one' while another series marinated. A dozen books later, and I can't seem to stop myself! I am a Navy son mom, a teenage girl mom, and a doggo mom to my two rescued writing companions - a lab mix and a border collie mix. I'm also a soon-to-be GG (gorgeous grandma)!

Mate - Margeaux Nix
Prologue
Kat - Last year
I love running with the pack. It’s such a rush!
I exclaim the moment I’ve completed my shift from my little brown wolf back into my human form. Tonight was the full moon. As usual, the Willow Cove pack shifted and ran together. It’s my favorite night every month. There is just something about being around the entire pack that I just love.
Being the omega of the pack, the monthly runs are a chance for me to flex my social butterfly wings and reconnect with everyone. It’s the only time I feel ‘valuable’ as a pack member. My brothers insist that the omega of the pack is just as important as everyone else. That’s easy for them to say. My three older brothers hold the three highest ranks in the pack – Alpha, Beta, and Enforcer. Meanwhile, I’m the lowest of the low, bottom of the barrel. I’ve come to grips with my position, mostly. There are times when it’s not so bad. Usually when I’m in private with my family. They don’t allow me to be the weak omega when other pack members aren’t around. To them, I’m their precious baby sister – the surprise that came along after my parents went on a cruise to celebrate their twentieth wedding anniversary. Nine months later...surprise! To say I’m spoiled by my family is an understatement. I both love it and hate it.
You always say that,
my brother Ryker – the pack’s alpha – laughs as he too shifts from his large silver wolf back to human. Ry is the oldest of my siblings and is ten years older than me, but he’s always been my favorite brother. I think it is because of our pack ranks – the alpha and the omega. While my brother is very serious and protective of me and everyone else in our pack, I am very social as the omega. I plan the pack dinners, the birthday parties, and am in tune with the emotions of the pack. Ry drives me crazy checking on the emotional state of our pack members, but it only further proves that he is a good alpha. A good leader, because he worries about us.
I say that because it’s always true,
I laugh, I smack his stomach playfully as we walk up the hill from the shore of Willow Cove Lake to Ry’s house. My little fist barely causes a tightening of his rippling abs. Every eligible female in the pack (except me, of course) is completely in lust with Ryker, and to a slightly lesser extent Axel, and a much lesser extent, Xander, too. My brothers are hot, or so I’ve been told. Repeatedly. Ad nauseum. Since I was old enough to comprehend what being hot entails.
I hear versions of ‘Your brother is smoking hot’ every time there is a full moon. Shifters generally don’t have an issue with nudity because shifting with clothes on is dangerous – at least for me. (Ask me how many times I’ve gotten tangled in a sports bra while shifting). Not to mention that shifting in clothes is murder on a wardrobe. All of that means I’ve seen way more of my brothers’ junk than I care to think about. It also means every other female in the pack has, too. I try not to think about all the men in the pack that have seen me naked. Most of them have known me since I was a pup, are respectful, and keep their gazes shoulder level and above when speaking to or looking at any female. But as always, there are a few perverts that enjoy ogling all the naked ladies just before and after runs. I just do my best to steer clear of them.
Dibs on the shower first!
I call as I run up the hill toward the back of Ryker’s house.
You got the shower first last time,
he calls from the shore of the lake. And you used all the hot water!
I try to spend as much time at his house as possible. I’m only twenty, but since I’m not going to college I still live with my parents, which is a major downer on my social life. That’s why I’m eyeball deep in building my own house on the other side of the lake. Since our family owns a construction company, our parents require each of us to learn to do every job. That means until my house is completed, I’m outside every day with the crew building my house instead of inside the office as the manager. The crew has taken away my hammer several times already. Hit someone on the head with it one time and they get snippy and call you a work hazard! What happened to them being big tuff men?
Mostly, the crew just sends me on coffee and lunch runs while they work in peace. I won’t argue. It’s hot as balls out here. After all, it is the middle of august! Food runs let me hibernate in the air conditioning.
In the interim, Ry keeps me out of trouble (mostly) but doesn’t smother me with rules the way my parents do. It’s become our tradition that after every pack run, we clean up at his outdoor shower and then I cook us a huge meal and promptly pass out on his couch.
I reach the shower first – a perk of being small and built for speed not strength like my big brothers. I get the water started and step under the warm stream, letting it sluice over my body aching from a hard run and successful hunt tonight. I tilt my head back and rinse the twigs and leaves from my long auburn hair before grabbing my shampoo from the nearby shelf. Then I smooth in conditioner so that my long tresses won’t be a knotty, tangled mess when I finally get to comb it out. I’m just finishing rinsing my hair when a large white truck pulls up in my brother’s driveway.
Who’s here?
I ask as my brother takes my towel from the hook and starts up the hill toward the early morning visitor. The last thing I want is to be in the middle of a shower when a stranger pulls up. There are no privacy walls around the shower and my brother has commandeered my towel. Mine is a giant fluffy bath sheet that will wrap around my body twice with extra leftover. My brother’s towel is barely big enough to wrap around my body once – forget about actually covering him.
That’s Nash. He’s the shifter that took over for Sheriff Dan last month when he retired.
Wolf?
I ask with a raised brow. I’d heard about the new sheriff being a shifter, but not what kind. I haven’t met him
