      THE OCEAN

      The ocean is the holder of things

      It holds

      New things

      Old things

      Shiny things

      Cheap things

      Valuable things

      Things cherished by some

      And abhorred by others

      The good thing about the ocean

      Is that it does not say no

      It welcomes everything

      It belongs to everything

      It welcomes unwanted things

      Forgotten things

      Beautiful things

      Lost things

      Fragile things

      The ocean gives and holds life

      The ocean also takes life

      The ocean is God

      The ocean reminds me that 

      I am all of the things that it holds

      The ocean is full of lost souls

      It keeps them safe

      Like the shiny treasures that it keeps from dying

      Sometimes the ocean is blue

      It holds all of the world’s peace and silence
