    How to read the pattern

Each step is separated by a comma.

When there is a stitch followed by a number, that number of stitches needs to be worked in the same stitch. Example: dc 2 in means that you have to crochet 2 dc into the same stitch.

When there is a number followed by a stitch, that stitch needs to be worked over that number of stitches. Example: 6 dc that is 1 dc in each of the next 6 sts.

When you see brackets [] in the pattern it means that you need to work the content as a set. Example: if you see [1 dc, dc 2], it means that you have to repeat the set between the brackets as indicated in the pattern.

The numbers in the () at the end of each round is the total number of stitches in that round. These numbers are there just to check your work.

    Notes

The first ch 1 from the beginning of the rounds doesn’t count as a stitch.

The first ch 2 from the beginning of the rounds doesn’t count as a stitch.

Try hiding the tales by crocheting over them.
