    How to read the pattern

Each step is separated by a comma.

Ch 2 at the beginning of the rounds doesn’t count as a stitch.

When there is a stitch followed by a number, that number of stitches needs to be worked in the same stitch. Example: dc 2 it means that you have to crochet 2 dc into the same stitch (increase).

When there is a number followed by a stitch, that stitch needs to be worked over that number of stitches. Example: 6 dc it means that you have to crochet 1 dc in each of the next 6 sts.

When you see () in the pattern it means that you need to work the content as a set. Example: if you see (1 dc, dc 2), it means that you have to repeat the set between the () as indicated in the pattern.

When you see join in the pattern, join with sl st into the first st.

The numbers in the () at the end of each round is the total number of stitches in that round/row. These numbers are there just to check your work.

    Stitches and techniques

    Double crochet two together (dc2tog)

Yarn over, insert hook into indicated st and pull up a loop, yarn over and pull through 2 loops (2 loops on hook), yarn over, insert hook into next st and pull up a loop, yarn over and pull through 2 loops (3 loops on hook), yarn over and pull through all loops on hook.

    Instructions
