Introduction

Wait just one minute! There is no scientific data or reasoning to back up why some people can communicate with the Afterlife. Why does this select group of people possess these abilities to see and hear the Spirit World?

I am writing this book on Spirituality, Ghost Hauntings, Spirits Visiting from the Other Side, Spirits Living Amongst Us, and the Affirmation of Life After Death.

I have always had an interest in this subject.

I have had many encounters with all of this unexplained Phenomenon. I was very young when I could see and hear Spirits. When I would tell someone, they did not believe me. I was not imagining these things.

Ghost did exist. I used to bury myself under my covers at night to avoid seeing these Spirits. I hoped with trying to hide from them they would go away.

If I could see and hear these things, no one else could. What is wrong with me? I do not understand this. The fear and anxiety mount up, and you do not know how to handle this or where to get help. No one talked about this type of stuff. Why was it kept hush, hush?

My encounters with Spirits coming to visit me and leaving messages have been numerous. I have heard the voices of Spirits talking to me telepathically. I heard voices straight out of nowhere, whether or not anyone around me heard them. I have asked. My husband several times if he called me. His answer was always no. We were the only ones in the house at the time, and I still heard someone calling me. Sometimes I hear my mother calling. She passed away two years ago.

Many people do not believe in the Spirit World, and there is no logical scientific reason for any of these so-called manifestations. These manifestations are supposed to be illusions in the minds of people claiming to have the abilities.

A great majority of the population believes in these abilities and those who have claimed to have them. These gifted people are uncertain about their encounters and interactions with Spirits from the Other Side. At first, they are afraid of what is going on around them. Fear is instilled in themselves and they feared people thinking they were going crazy. They believe society will shun them if they were to talk about these Spirits they see and hear.

The non-believers make life very difficult for a person with psychic abilities to practice their chosen path. They want to be of service to the human race. The gifted person is often thought of, and called a fraud, even though they can prove otherwise. You ask any Psychic if they are one hundred percent correct all the time, and they will tell you no one can make that claim. It all depends on the information you are receiving or how you interpret it from the Other Side.

People with psychic abilities were found guilty and sentenced to death. Those who were sentenced to execution were executed in ways which included hanging, stoning, and burning to death. As feared of not being normal, some of these people with psychic abilities were put into asylums and treated as they were insane. One good example would be the Salem Witch Trials. A couple of girls went around town accusing people of being witches without any tangible proof. These rumours caused the hanging of many people and it took a lot of lives for nothing.

At times, I can see an alternate Universe or Astral Plane. Most people would think this is not possible. If this is the case and not so. Why would I have so much paranormal activity in my home? Spirits are walking down my hallway and into my bedrooms at any time day or night. I can hear music playing when there is no possible way it could be. With living in the country and having no neighbours, I could not find the source of the constant music.

Many Psychics believe there is an Alternate Universe, the place everyone calls home. It is only three feet above our existing plane, and the veil is so thin that Spirits can be seen and heard. Such things like this are not uncommon to very intuitive people. These sensitive people are called Psychics who can communicate in many different ways with the Spirit World.

A true story worth telling, and no one should be afraid of the Spirit World. You should open your mind to the subject and listen to what a Spirit may be trying to communicate to you. The Spirit is most likely one of your loved ones, who may have a warning for you or just dropping by to say hello.

After being afraid of my psychic abilities for so long, I decided to embrace the Supernatural and Paranormal World. I maintain the connection I have with the loved ones who visit me.

I read cards and tea leaves many years back for free, I was pretty good at it. I would always have the fear that I could be wrong. I became frightened one night, and I decided to quit doing readings. I stopped reading for friends and family when it became more trouble than it was worth. People stopped coming around when I would not read for them. I still have visions that I keep to myself because I do not know if I should tell people their fate.

My regular day is one I have accepted where another person would consider frightening or weird. The activity is reassuring, my loved ones are comfortable and want to share their Spiritual lives with me. My mind and heart will always welcome them unconditionally.

The Meaning of Supernatural

What is the meaning of the supernatural? According to the dictionary and many people who have researched the subject of the Supernatural World, it means:

The manifestation of an event belongs to some force beyond the scientific understanding of the Laws of Nature.

Supernatural is, beyond the visible observation of the universe especially relating to God, their God or Demigod, artifacts people worship too, Spirit or the Devil and anything unusual to the laws of nature.

Some examples are miracles, magic and precognition.

The meaning of Paranormal or Phenomena refers to outside the scope known laws of nature.

Many people may have different forms of Psychic Abilities. Psychic Abilities can take the form of one of these known phenomena, including Telekinesis, Clairvoyance, Psychokinesis, ESP – Extrasensory Perception, and Telepathy. There are so many other abilities not mentioned here.

These events are beyond the normal scope of scientific reasoning. Trying to understand these phenomena that are not of the world as we see them.

Many people of the world see and hear things, not of this world. These people are often called liars. They are ridiculed for their abilities if they come forward and use them. People with these abilities try to help others understand these things that are true in nature and are natural.

Often, children become aware of their abilities at an early age. Out of fear and disbelief, adults discouraged children not to use the gift. Parents have programed the ones with abilities not to believe in the Paranormal Phenomenon. Children grew up believing that it was their imagination.

My Road Through the Supernatural

and Paranormal Phenomenon

How does anyone start on this road to the Supernatural and Paranormal Phenomenon?

It is hard to say. It just happens. Scientists believe Psychic Abilities are in your genes. Most Psychics have relatives that came before them, who were no strangers to the paranormal. Mothers, Fathers and Grandparents passed the genes to the next generation.

Most children who are very sensitive to the Paranormal have grown up not knowing what it is. These children go to bed frightened and cowering under the blankets.

Some of these children were lucky enough to have someone to help them navigate the turmoil of the unknown, while others will not be so lucky. The unfortunate children have to wade through the unknown by themselves because no one will take them seriously, if they tell someone what they see and hear.

Some of these children will or have grown up to be experts in Psychic Phenomena with lucrative careers. Some Psychics will become famous. Some people will prefer a quiet life and no recognition.

I was one child who grew up in fear after being told Ghosts did not exist. My parents and others did not believe me.

Later, when I was a teenager, the sightings and hearing Ghosts persisted. It even became worse. I did not understand what was happening and became fearful of the unexplainable that was happening around me.

At twelve, my instincts started to unfold with greater intensity. My one grandfather passed away, and I thought it was my fault. The year before, when I was saying goodbye to my grandfather, we were both crying because we knew we would never see each other alive again. My family and I moved to another city that was a fair distance away, and we were unable to return for a visit before my grandfather passed.

We returned home after the Funeral, and the Paranormal became even more intense.

After I left home, I started to investigate the Supernatural. I started reading everything I could get my hands on. Then one day, I went to the library and checked out books to read.

One night, after the children were in bed, I pulled out the books and started reading. Unusual things were happening, so I closed the books and went to bed. After I fell asleep, the nightmares were frightening. I felt this incredible pressure on my chest. I could not move or breathe. I became frightened, and I knew something was wrong. I started to pray and pray. The suffocation did not ease up. I continued to pray, and the next thing I knew, I was praying in another language.

The pressure on my chest lifted, and I slept uncomfortably for the rest of the night.

I telephoned my aunt in the morning, and I told her what was going on the night before. I knew she would understand. I had overheard my parents talking about my aunt and me. My parents realized they could not deny I could see and hear Ghosts as my aunt could.

My aunt told me to close the books up and take them back to the library. She told me to pray to God and ask for his help to remove the evil I let in, when I was doing my research.

I did as my aunt suggested. I decided then to give up reading tea leaves and tarot cards. Even though I was not participating in the Psychic practice, it never left me. I was still having visions, and my instincts were right. I kept this to myself and tried to go on without my Psychic Abilities.

As I said, the abilities never went away. I tried to ignore my gifts, that did not help. I have decided to embrace the Supernatural and Paranormal Phenomena instead of fearing them.

Being Psychic

What does it mean to be a Psychic?

Everyone would have a different point of view of what being Psychic means to them. Most would say their Psychic adventures started with the fear of not knowing what was happening around them. Some people were lucky, and they had someone to guide them. They were still frightened, and they tried to hide from the phenomenon.

When most Psychics tried to forget or hide from the Spirits, who were trying to make contact, they were unsuccessful. The Spirits never give up because the Spirits know they have the opportunity to be seen and heard.

The Psychic Adventure starts escalating as children reach their teenage years. Some Doctors attribute this surge in Psychic Abilities due to puberty as the hormones change from being a child into becoming a man or woman.

At this point in some children’s lives, they are starting to deal with the death of loved ones. Sometimes, thinking that they had caused the death, they foresaw in advance. Some young Psychics tried to prevent the death. They tried to communicate unsuccessfully, with the person in question. The person did not take the communicator seriously. In days, weeks or months, the death of their loved one happens.

The young Psychic becomes frustrated and afraid. Self-doubt settles in. That is when Psychics are left wondering. Why do I have Psychic Abilities if I cannot change the outcome of a future event?

By the time the person with the abilities enters their twenties, they will become aware that they cannot deny they are Psychic. The person chooses to lead a quiet life and prefers to stay out of the limelight. Many Psychics will have a career in which they will not become famous, and others will become well known, maybe Psychics to the Stars.

The Psychics who make it to fame deal with a lot of ridicule and skepticism. The common phrase you hear them use. You have to have thick skin, and I do not listen to the Media. There’s always the non-believers.

I chose the quiet life of not letting too many people know that I have Psychic Abilities. The time has passed over the years, and most people who knew have long forgotten, that’s okay with me.

I know I had a hard time overcoming the fear of hearing and seeing the Spirit World. I have accepted what will be, will be.

Taking Chances

When you are trying to develop your Psychic Gifts or your Intuition you should take chances. Keep a journal and write all your impressions down. No one has to know that you are doing it. Who cares if you are right or wrong?
