About this ebook
In Duck Town, the unusual is usual. Tottie’s unusual, usual, is her tush wiggles each time she quacks. And she quacks a lot! Tottie Duck owns a cozy bakery named Get Your Quack On Bakery in Duck Town. Many of the town’s ducks stop in at the bakery to purchase her delicious baked goods. Her customers share stories of kindness as they select their goodies from the display case.
Each day she mixes together an old family cookie recipe for the next day. She thinks about the kind stories shared in her store throughout the day. She includes a secret ingredient in each batch of her polka-dot quacker cookies that makes them extra special.
Tottie’s recipe goes missing the day before a cookie event in Atler Park. And, so does her secret ingredient! The adventure begins as she and her friends recreate the recipe and Tottie is tasked to find the missing secret ingredient.
Just as Duck Town appreciates its usual, unusual citizens, children can appreciate the different qualities they discover in other children. As they receive and display kindness to family, friends, and community, they may find a piece of their joy finds a home in the hearts of every life they touch.
