Her passion for writing grew substantially when her son was a young child. Made-up stories were a fun way to pass the time and spend quality time together. As he grew and nieces and nephews arrived, they too wanted to hear the stories. She had told so many over time that it was easy to forget how they went. It was time to put pen to paper. The more she wrote, the more she loved it. Eventually she began working with and writing plays and skits for the children’s group at her church. Now she writes for her grandchildren, Elizabeth and Alexander. Children are great to write for. They inspire her, whatever their age. There is so much to work with in regard to children. Their growing, learning, development, imagination—the list can go on and on.view less
