Thank you to Netgalley, Tokyo Pop and Mallory Reaves for the advance copy in exchange for a review. The story has some new scenes and twists that were good addition to the story. We see a glimpse of how Belle fell in love with the Beast, how she was able to connect with him. I like the graphics except for the inanimate objects like Mrs. Potts. Mrs. Potts looked especially scary. I read mine on the Kindle so there were no colors but I still appreciated it nonetheless.

3.5-3.75 StarsA Manga adaptation of the recent live-action Disney film, Beauty and the Beast. This story follows along closely with the movie and is told from Belle's perspective. The illustrations are enchanting (I agree with another reviewer that the Beast looks better in his Manga manifestation) and the cover is beautiful. For Beauty and the Beast fans and Manga readers.Net Galley Feedback

This is a manga adaptation of Disney's Beauty and the Beast movie. It is told in Belle's perspective. I like the concept of having twin books. But because it is a different platform, the story is in a rush. The illustrations are beautiful like typical mangas. Nothing new about the plot but I still want to have a hard copy of these books.

I received an eCopy from NetGalley in exchange for my honest review.

I enjoyed this book, but it felt...off somehow. I love anime/manga and I love everything Beauty and the Beast, but this felt to be forced,(or maybe just super rushed?) and didn't have the natural flow I'm used to in both of them. Still overall I enjoyed it, and thought the art was well done (in places), I especially like how Gaston turned out! (Odd I know!) I agree with the others, from what I have read of Manga, this one was lacking. Since I enjoyed the over all story in this one, I'm giving it 3 stars, but it definitely didn't live up to my expectations.

Manga re-telling of Disney's Beauty and the Beast story from Belle's point of view. I enjoyed visiting this story again, especially because we get to see what happened from Belle's POV only.

A beautiful full-color Beauty and the Beast manga!I actually really loved that this story followed the live-action film rather than the animated film. It was a refreshing change. The one thing that I found a bit disappointing was how the story was pieced together. There were places it felt a little disjointed or lacking, like it skipped to a new scene before it should have.Overall, a wonderful story for anyone that loves Beauty and the Beast! Huge thank you to Disney Manga/TokyoPop via NetGalley for the e-ARC to read and honestly review.
