About this ebook
Sometimes the only way to get a good night’s sleep is for it to be sent to you from up above. But when you’ve had the kind of year Sanden has, believing in angels can be nearly impossible and in that jaded state, you struggle, with the rest you so desperately need always out of reach. With a distrusting mother ready to have Sanden’s mental state negotiated through the courts, sleep is the furthest thing from her mind. Her cherished home and children are the only things she’s got left, but they’ll be taken away too if she can’t get it together. Sometimes we just don’t know how to ask for the things we so desperately need, and sometimes that’s when life steps in and sends us a miracle.

HUMAN GIANT ANGEL MERMAID
It is beautiful and haunting and scary and fierce and unsettling. The words are woven with much beauty and emotion.
—Masha Levinson, reader
Short, simple, sweet, to the point. A beautifully written narrative giving words to struggles we all face while eloquently underpinning the courageousness of the human spirit along with its capacity for love.
—J. Goode, author
This story made me stop and think and smile and pray.
—Kerri Carpenter, award-winning author of the Something True series
EVEN HONEY EXPIRES
Carlene Love has a way of enveloping a reader in just a few sentences and not letting go until the last word. Even Honey Expires is a beautifully written short story proving love can span the test of space, time, and even life.
—S. Bunino, author and lover of books
Dedication
I dedicate this story to grandparents and their very special way of being there for us, even when we can’t see them.
