Susan is a journalist that needs to escape a clingy boyfriend and decides to try and capture the one picture that most journalists are still scrambling for to this day. It is of a reclusive millionaire that high tailed it out of the country in order to avoid answering to the investors he stole from.

She goes overseas in search of that infamous photograph and story, when a band of rebels hijacks the bus that she is on. The passengers are all taken hostage, including Susan and most are summarily released after ransom negotiations are conducted.

Unfortunately, Susan has nobody that can put up the ransom and they decide to keep her around. One of the masked men begins a friendship with her and soon they are running for their lives and falling in love at the same time.
