    Adam Neumann was born in Israel in 1970 to two doctors, Dr. Doron and Dr. Avivit Neumann. He grew up in several different small desert towns in Israel, and would go on to become a successful entrepreneur.

    Adam Neumann grew up in a disjointed family, with a mother who had cancer and a father who had abandoned them. In college, he began working at a youth hostel in Israel. There, he met other young people from troubled families and was inspired to start a company that would help other troubled youth.
