Retail pioneer Raymond Ackerman remembered

‘A TRUE TRAILBLAZER’

RETAIL pioneer Raymond Ackerman will be remembered as a trailblazer, innovator and icon of business.

Ackerman died at his home in Cape Town on Wednesday at the age of 92.

His impact on society has been so profound that shoppers at the Durban North Pick n Pay Hypermarket wrote messages of condolences and paid tribute to him this week.
