About this ebook
50 original haikus for your reflection and enjoyment. These are composed by Dino Mapa. Haiku is a type of short form poetry originally from Japan. Traditional Japanese haiku consist of three phrases that contain a kireji, or "cutting word", 17 on in a 5, 7, 5 pattern, and a kigo, or seasonal reference. Some of these haikus are funny, some are sad, while sme are thought-provoking. They are meant to be read and reflected on several times. So, read and let your thoughts fly!

I'm a retired pastor now concentrating on what I love best: writing. I graduated from Journalism and took special classes on Christian ministry. I live alone with one cat who believes I'm the pet and not her. My wife, Alma, passed away in 2010. I have one daughter who lives not too far from with two children and a doting husband.
