PART-1
CHAPTER1:
I was done with my pre-work chores early and lost in my special place, the reading place with my coffee. My reading place full of books is cozy enough to make me feel warmly hugged while am lost in a completely new world. I was just about to read the climax when a sweet fragrance of freshly cooked pancakes was coming towards me and I was already having it’s taste in my mouth. But, I was so lost in my favorite place’s vibes that I didn’t even tried to turn around and see that delicious meal coming towards me.
My reading place, I have always loved the aesthetic touch. I have a warm, soft and fluffy rug all over my area. And it’s having a view of greens and I can see he park and the lake through the glassed windows. The walls are having bookshelves touching the ceilings and filled with different worlds. I don’t have a door at its entrance, but the white curtains give it a beautiful balanced look. I sit on my bean bag and place my coffee on the mini table. This area of my house has known various love affairs, fantasy, mysteries, sad and happy endings. And yes, one of my bookshelf is half filled. And am planning to get some more ‘mini-worlds’ to these shelves. I often write my own words there in the dim golden light, with hot chocolate and cookies. Usually am wrapped in my plushy blanket and my high bun rests on the window while I write. And the best thing about this place is that it does not make fun of my cartoon crocks. I love to wear them; they are super warm. And one more special thing about this place is that, whenever am about to read the climax of any book, my favorite person comes in and breaks my flow. But, I really don’t mind that. And so did happened again.
I guess he’s marrying you?
a chin rested on my shoulder and a peck was placed on my cheek. And of-course I had to return it.
Ahh I wish it was so, he’s marrying his love of life.
I replied back winking my eye.
Ohh Christy, can you please come out of your books once? You have a real world to see. And obviously me to give all your attention darling.
And we both giggled.
She’s my mother. My favorite and only person, my world. She’s the best person I have ever met in my entire journey. Although am just 24, she’s the best in my entire world. She’s damn graceful and admirable and I wouldn’t deny that no one agrees of her having a twenty-four-year-old daughter. I have always seen her strong enough to not let me know about her pains. I always look forward to her to get any advice for myself. And she’s never wrong. Our bond is so precious that it’s enough to survive all situations when we’re together.
I love her. And she loves me.
Mumma, I have a good news for you.
I was excited.
Okay, now what? I hope it’s not a surprise again?
she was mocking. She’s always way too much shocked on my surprises rather ‘surprised’!
Nah, it’s a good one. You remember that proposal and details I was working on?
I knew she remembered.
That one for army collaboration content?
she asked.
Yes! I just received an email. They are coming tomorrow for a meeting and am sure we are going to get the job.
Super excited me.
Congratulations my dear. Proud of you my girl.
She was really proud.
My phone rings....
Christy, they are coming tomorrow where are you?
liza asked me. Much more excited.
"Liza calm down. Am coming and the meeting is tomorrow
