About this ebook
At the office's holiday party, Jay is sitting with his friends, commiserating about the fact that the company has decided to forgo the bonuses that year, when he suddenly thinks of a plan to get his missing check. His boss will be spending the night alone, it seems, and Jay offers to keep him company for a while in exchange for the bonus he was expecting.
They eventually come to an agreement, but when Jay gets back to the boss's place, he realizes he may have bitten off more than he could chew—but he's not about to back down from a challenge with this much on the line.

Dedicated to the holiday season.
So, you got any plans for the holidays?
Kevin turns to look at me as he lowers the glass from his lips, shaking his head slightly as he does.
Nothing I can think of,
he says. Ellen probably has something planned, though.
I force a slight laugh and nod my head.
It’s always awkward trying to make small talk with coworkers, I think as I turn my attention back to the drink in my hand, and it definitely doesn’t help that everyone is in a bad mood. You’d think that we’d all be excited for the break in the action this season—and we definitely are—but that’s been soured by the fact that the higher-ups in the company decided to forgo the bonuses this year in favor of throwing us this shitty party. Honest to fuck, I don’t know which one of those corporate shitlords thought that was a good idea, but I hope whoever it was loses a kidney by New Year’s.
But hey, at least there’s free drinks.
I swirl my glass a bit, watching the deep magenta liquid inside slosh around, before raising the glass to my lips and taking a long sip. I frown and look down at the glass, giving it another swirl as I lower it down to the table. It’s not even good wine, I think as I scowl at the drink—these motherfuckers really gave us the cheapest shit they could find and called it a day. The office door opens behind me.
What’s up, assholes?
I look over my shoulder, and my mood immediately improves when I see Molly walking into the conference room. I get up and give her a fist bump as she tosses her jacket onto one of the chairs nearby.
Hey, Moll,
Kevin says. Didn’t think you were gonna make it.
Molly shrugs her shoulders, dropping her bag onto the table.
Yeah, it was pretty up in the air for me,
she says. "I figured there wasn’t much to do here—and
