Elizabeth Weaver is a fourth generation Marietta girl. He passion for cooking is based on generations of great cooks within her own family and circle of friends. Generations of edibles: A Southern Legacy was born from decades of recipes and food exploration. Bringing her families recipes and Elizabeth's creation to print is the beginning of her cookbook dreams. She is thrilled by the color photographs that line each page showing the table ready version of each recipe. Her food photographer, Keith Goodwin, happens to be her neighbor and a professional photographer. A college friend and former co-worker handles the layout and design of her first cookbook. You might say that not only are her recipes from family and friends but even the cookbook's creation has been. For 29 years she has worked in the arts in Cobb County. And now she uses her passion for food to give people the joy of home-cooked meals. As a Certified Personal Chef and a graduate of the Culinary Business Academy, Chef Elizabeth has hundreds of recipes and food ideas to give you and your family comforting, nutritious and heart-warming meals. Chef Elizabeth's food story began when she was 13 years old. Her Mom asked her to prepare a meal each week for the family of six. Through this experience, she learned how to budget a meal. As her life progressed she began creating food for family and friends. Cooking became a way to make people smile and to relieve stress. Now, as a premier member of the United States Personal Chef Association, she brings her passion for creativity and food, along with the credentials from an outstanding organization to make your meals exciting. Chef Elizabeth has 30 years of event planning as the Director of Cultural Affairs for Cobb County. She will be able to assist you with a wonderful anniversary dinner for two or a birthday party for 30 people. Maybe you know a new bride that would like to learn the basics of creating meals for her family. Let Chef Elizabeth plan a cooking bridal shower. New mother's have so much on their plate, so providing a multi-meal service could be the greatest gift she receives. Chef Elizabeth also offers cooking classes at various locations around the Atlanta Area.
