The victory or defeat is found in how well

My Gratitude
First and foremost, I have to thank God. I’m truly blessed that He has given me the opportunity to present my fifth book with to. I don’t take for granted the allowance He has given me to have a creative outlet for all of the many random thoughts floating in my head!
My parents, Debra and Ronnie Swisher and Carl Harleaux, are the biggest encouragers I could ever ask for. I love you and I’m forever grateful for you.
My wife, Alexandria Harleaux, has always remained very patient, loving and supportive throughout this entire process. I love you.
John Patrick Adams, the first author to believe in 7th Sign Publishing. Thanks so much for your tremendous support brother since day one. Shirley Thomas, I’m pleased you chose 7th Sign to share your Introduction
with everyone.
Also, for all of my friends and family who have believed in my dreams, without prompting. I may not have said enough in the past, but each of you having my back gives me the energy to keep moving.
Special thanks to Michael Lamb for the awesome cover art you created for me! Renato Rimach, thanks to you as well for the great photography!
Anyone who has ever purchased any of my previous books, reposted my blogs, watched my review videos or shared how my writing has touched them, thank you!
If I failed to mention anyone, please blame it on my head and not my heart.
My sincere hope is that this book is as much of a therapeutic and thought-provoking read as it was for me in creating it.
I dedicate Stingrays to the memory of my uncle, Rodney Swisher. Uncle Rodney, you had one of the purest hearts of anyone I have ever met. I know you are smiling even brighter in heaven than you did here on earth. You will always be in my heart and my thoughts. For now, I’ll just find comfort in looking up and finding your smile in the sky
.
Gratitude With A Kick
The greatest victories are never won alone. I decided to do something that I had never seen done before with the release of Stingrays. I knew that I was going to release the book in digital form. However, I thought I would give people a chance to get a physical copy as well. These amazing individuals believed in this unorthodox vision enough to invest in print copies of the book before the official release of the ebook (released on my birthday, February 4th, 2017).
I would like to give a very special thanks to John Patrick Adams, Tammie Henry, William Belcher, Brian S Ference, Bill Hargenrader, Andre Wallace, Helmut Schindlwick, Shana Lee Dixon, Debra Harleaux Swisher, Ronnie Swisher, Margaret St. John, LaWanda Evans, Cecelia Tanner, Runette Harris, Carla Harleaux Gonzalez, Dina Howard, Alicia Dickerson, Maggie Lois West, Carl Harleaux, Gloria Hatcher-Gonzalez and Tambria Barnes! Plus, thank you to everyone who contributed towards the Kickstarter.
I sincerely hope that more authors find creative ways such as Kickstarter to release their books. This is the wave of the future and I am forever grateful to those who dared to see the vision with me!
The Initial Sting (Introduction)
I have always been a lover of water. Water is one of God’s most soothing and interesting creations, especially when we think about waters of the ocean. Every book I have ever written has to start off with the concept and title first. The title and concept are part of the back bone of how I am able to write.
