The Days of Time

This is a collection of cinquains written from the time of my last collection Lenting up to the present time. Although the cinquain form is only about one hundred years old, it has roots that reach as far back as Ancient Greece and Rome. Epigrammatic, it also touches upon Asian poetic traditions. Although the poems are short, they are not, I trust, inconsequential.

Andrew Mangravite

Andrew Mangravite has published translations from Saint-Pol-Roux and other French Symbolist writers. He has also written extensively on film and fine art. A Book of Cinquains is a collection of his original poems. He currently resides in suburban Philadelphia and works as an archivist.
