    THE INVISIBLE HAND OF GOD...

    ––––––––

FOREWORD: I am a TV and film actor in the city of dreams, Mumbai, in my colorful and culturally diverse country, India, Going by the same name, Vaishnavi Macdonald and for many, I am known with my popular on-screen character name, the Indian version of superman’s Luis lane, Geeta Vishwas.I never wanted to be an actor ever, but just imagine an empty stage with the spotlight on and no performer yet on stage... the audience waiting with bated breaths for the entry  and suddenly imagine a young girl being pushed onto the stage into the spotlight, she is awkwardly pulling the hem of her dress down and down to the point of almost tearing it.

    ––––––––

Well, that awkward girl you can imagine was me as a sweet 16-year-old, the year of my entry into the Bollywood Industry auditioning for lead characters ( I had done a stint in a horror flick Veerana, as a 9-year-old kid years back) and the stage is the circumstance of my life at that point, as there was no other way out...well just as I started off as a reluctant actor but later made the profession my passion, this is also my first book and me an equally awkward Author right now. You can call it semi-autobiographical. I do not consider myself a great writer, but nevertheless, here I am writing a full-fledged book! What next God? So, can I expect a Lil' bit of leniency from my dear critic?

How this book actually came into the picture is that two years ago, Pastors Phil and Maria Mason from Australia had come to our fellowship service as a guest speaker. Pastor Maria prophesied over me that I will be an Author and I will write books. When I told her I do like writing she said I should start right away. But I took it lightly and got busy in my routine actor's life. Then now, in this 2020 COVID Lockdown, God made a young dynamic International illustrator, Sanghamitra Das Gupta, going also by the Nickname of Ezio, to inspire and motivate me to write. She calls me 'Didi', an elder sister in Hindi. God has used her to fulfill His this particular purpose in my life, that I

write. She did all the technicalities of publishing and promoting this book for me.

    ––––––––

I just had to write it. Even the cover of the book is done by her. I am grateful to God for her and she did all this so selflessly. Apart from the greatest inspiration that is God Himself, Other people who have been an inspiration behind this book are all my family members, my husband Leslie and my Mother Anjali and my daughter Margaret, then my spiritual family, the Church and My Leaders, Pastor Vijay and Tejal Nadar, the latter is also a dear friend and my Spiritual mentor. Last but not the least thanks to all my fans out there who want me to write and always encouraged me.

I also want to thank the people who reviewed and gave me their honest opinions and feedbacks, namely Cindi Handley Goodeaux (USA),

    ––––––––

Jonxy Richy (CANADA), Paula Louise(NEWZEALAND), A.C Altintas (SLOVENIA), and Pastor Tejal Nadar (India).

As for the title of the book, I woke up one morning with it  and I believe God put in my heart to start with because as my title suggests I do have a Big supernatural story behind this too.

Why The invisible hand of God? Because many good and unexplainable things happen in life and you may not see Him directly involved in them. But at all times He was, He is, and He will be there in all the good things ever.

And So, I dedicate this book to the greatest Love of my Life, THE INVISIBLE GOD Himself, made visible to me in His word that dwelt amongst us.

    Chapter 1

    THE UNSEEN ONE

I walked up amidst the applause and the spotlight on the stage and tears of gratitude towards God, when I received the Zee Rishtey awards for Best Mata/Pita (Mother/Father) along with my co-actor,  once in 2014 and then again Best Maa/Beti (mother/daughter) in 2016. God had lifted me up to give me honor before the people of the land. I remember I spoke confidently on the mike before hundreds of people then, thanking Jesus. The problem is people see your success and good times and tend to think you have always been that way.

But let me take you to my story where it all began years ago. What a contrast it was  then, when I was a 15-year-old young, lanky girl in the twin city of Hyderabad. I was singing the National Anthem on  the Independence Day school function on stage with my 10th grade teacher  who had a lovely voice. I remember I was so awkward and nervous that my voice sounded cracked on the speakers. And being the nerd who loved to drown into the text books whenever possible, looks wise I had those heavy-duty upper lip hair that made me look almost like a boy. No wonder no boy in my vicinity was attracted to me back then. I always wondered why God would give us women upper lip hair and yet want us to look attractive to the opposite sex. Anyway, upper
