About this ebook
Understanding thyself is a series of books inspired by God dealing with me and those around me in my quest to know more about myself. I got this understanding from my walk with God and my life prior to accepting Christ and also from those close to my heart. These lessons include those learnt from our successes, mistakes and failure to attempt. This book, like all other books under these series, aims at helping oneself, know thyself better, so as to realize one's full potential on earth not according to human perspective or views but in accordance with the Creator.
These series aim at encouraging one to bear fruits that last and glorify God. This book being the first under the series, will concentrate on reconnecting us back to the Creator and solidifying our foundation. It will build a base for the principles in the books to come under these series. The growing faith focuses on growing your faith through understanding the foundation of humanity, prayer and evangelism. By the end of the series, the goal is to raise influential believers in all circles of life and offer an opportunity for some to know Christ.

How man is destined to function
Complex things are puzzling and intimidating when looked at for the very first time. Just imagine if you were given a window of opportunity to sit in the cockpit of an aeroplane and took a good look at the array of the buttons, obviously, you would think it’s will-o'-the-wisp for one to know and understand the function of each button.
Nevertheless, think of pilots, how do they do it? It started making sense when they were admitted into an aviation school and started learning the basics first, then the complex staff followed later. Not long enough, they found themselves knowing and understanding the components of the complex machine. Before they know it, the complex machine is no longer complicated to them. The secret there is getting to know the basic units and building your knowledge from basic to complex. Similarly, doctors are taught cell anatomy, cell physiology and cell injury.
