I never understood why people say, ‘You are what you eat.’
I inhale who I want to be, letting the air fill my tummy.
If I eat a pancake… am I a pancake? —No.
Hold for three…
We are what we think.
Exhale slowly who I am not as I count to four.
I flip open my sun visor mirror and take a quick look at myself as I repeat my mantra of affirmation. #BOSS, #BITCH, #BABE
I do it because it works for me. No one knows me better than I know myself. Not even my therapist that my parents waste money on weekly. I won’t throw her completely under the bus because sometimes she has some cool things to put into perspective, but most of the time—not!

Not the weak ones, anyway.
What’s up, bitches!
I greet my two besties, Ashleigh and Nicole. They both sashay and do a few twists and turns for my approval on their outfits of the day. Not bad—not bad,
I say. Not better than mine… but not bad.
