    ACT I

    SCENE I

    Opening: view of the sky tree top coming down, to view the barber shop (50’s look), camera moves in to barber shop window glass; close up you can see the name of the barber shop, year of establishment etc. There are faces looking out of the window.

    SCENE II

    A group of men including the barbers, one customer has the cloth on ready for a haircut; one barber has scissors in his hand etc.

    Barber 1 – Well here he comes again.

    Customer 1 – Why in the world does he keep on doing that?

    Customer 2 – I don’t know, maybe he got some kind of problem.

    Barber 2 – Maybe he don’t, maybe he’s just having fun.

    As they talk, all heads turn slowly to the right at the same time.

    SCENE III

    Camera picks up a young boy 10 – 12 running view from

    the front side, to rear as young boy continues to

    Run down the street etc. (maybe road)

    SCENE IV

    Back inside of the barber shop.

    Barber 1-Why does he run like that every morning every day.

    Customer 1-Not every day?

    Barber 2 – Yep, every day even when it’s

    raining a little, here he comes running.

    Customer 1 – Why in the morning?

    Barber 2 – in the afternoon too.

    Customer 2 – Maybe he like to run before breakfast.

    Barber 1 – I don’t know.

    Barber 2 – I hear people on the other side of the county

    see him running in the morning and in the evening.

    Customer 2 – That boy is a running somebody,

    pause and say yep he run like a horse.

    Everybody laughs a little and return to their places.

    Customer 1 – Wow!

    ACT II

    SCENE I

    Camera show the young boy Josiah running, 2 – 3 {camera shots}. Last shot, Josiah is seen running towards what looks like a barn.

    SCENE II

    Inside the barn a man is rubbing down a horse, he is an

    Indian (Floating Feather) about 60 years or older.

    Man rubbing the horse down with his back at the

    door, without turning around, hears the door open

    and says, Josiah, come in. All ways on time.

    Josiah – Breathing hard from running says

    what you want me to do first.

    Floating Feather – Smile and say, catch your

    breath, sit down and rest first.

    Josiah – Resting looks around the barn. Floating

    Feather – over there, pointing to water.

    Josiah – Gets up, walks to the water, and pours a glass

    of water. Water runs down the sides
