Hello viewers and welcome my Morning Vlog! Today I’m recording my morning routine. And because a lot of you requested it I’m taking you with me on my morning run across campus. So today I decided to strap on my brand new camera and take you along!
Claudia exclaimed.
Claudia Shane adjusted the small circular black camera that was attached to her upper right shoulder with a thick black strap as she jogged forward.
Claudia increased her speed. She breathed deeply as she sprinted across the vast university campus. She ran along a narrow tree lined cement path that was located in the center of the university.
A few slow moving students walked along the path near her.
Claudia picked up speed. And she expertly ran around the sluggish individuals as she continued her rapid path forward.
Right now I’m right smack in the middle of campus. Not much to see. Some old buildings and ratchet statues. Its early so there’s not too many people out. I’m actually really late today. I usually do my run at dawn. But if you follow my channel, you know that I’ve been tackling my midterms this week and last night there was a paper I had to do. So I got up late today. Boo! But now I’m here and ready to go! Yay!
Claudia cheered.
Claudia sprinted away from the narrow path. She ran along the length of a wide and empty pedway.
Claudia slowed her stride and she looked up at the sky.
The sky was blue, clear and cloudless. The sun shone brightly overhead and the air was cold.
The sky is really pretty today guys. It’s really sunny and bright. My cam is strapped to my shoulder so I really can’t show it to you right now. Hee! Hee! But it’s nice after all of the clouds and rain yesterday,
Claudia said.
Claudia stopped her run. She breathed deeply for a few moments, before she turned around slowly and looked at the area around her.
Let me show you the campus,
Claudia said.
Hundreds of tall trees that were adorned with leaves that possessed hues of orange, gold and yellow lined the stone pedway.
Dozens of identical stone buildings had been erected on the far side of the path away from the strategically placed trees. A few weathered statues of crumbling stone jutted up from the ground in the space near the buildings. Several wooden benches had been placed along the sides of the path.
Look at all of the colors on those trees. Its fall guys! Wow. I can’t believe that its almost Thanksgiving guys. Its next week. The time has gone by so fast this year. I mean. I’m still eating my gluten free Halloween candy!
Claudia said with a laugh.
Claudia stretched her body with a sigh.
Well I’m going to stop talking to you now and run!
Claudia announced.
Claudia took a deep breath before she ran forward. She sprinted across the wide path and quickly departed from the center of campus.
Claudia continued her run. And she smiled a group of laughing students as she sprinted away from them. She kept her breaths steady during her trek forward and she looked at her familiar surroundings.
Claudia increased her speed and her steps faltered with a choking gasp when a cold blast of wind suddenly whipped through the area.
Claudia stopped running. She wrapped her arms around her middle with a low cry as she struggled to breath while the cold air seemed to encircle her form.
The trees in the area swayed in the breeze. Hundreds of multicolored leaves fell from the tree branches and the brightly colored objects flew through the air.
The students in the area struggled to walk as the cold attacked their bodies.
And just as quickly as the wind began, it stopped and the air was still once more.
Whoah. I didn’t expect that. Hee! Hee!
Claudia giggled.
Claudia looked around and she jumped up and down briefly. She twisted her body and stretched gracefully before she continued her run forward.
Claudia moved quickly through campus and soon she left the isolated area and ran through a series of quiet residential streets.
The streets were filled with an assortment of old houses and semi-modern apartment buildings.
A few students walked lazily in the direction of the nearby residences.
Claudia increased her pace and she continued her run.
She departed the residential area at a moderate pace and after a few minutes, she ran along the length of a busy intersection.
The road was filled with dozens of rapidly moving cars.
Claudia stopped in front of the crosswalk. She looked at the traffic light.
The light was green.
Claudia waited for the light to turn red. And she jumped up and down and stretched her lithe form. She looked at the space around her while she exercised.
The area was filled with an assortment of shops, boutiques restaurants and cafes.
The loud blare of car horns and the resonant screech of tires echoed in the air after the green traffic light changed to red.
Claudia looked at the waiting cars in the street in front of her with caution before she ran across the boulevard. She leaped onto the sidewalk and she jogged forward.
A few college students and middle aged shoppers strolled lazily along the sidewalk around her.
Claudia slowed her stride forward. She raised her left arm and looked at her Fitbit with a nod. She moved the device in front of her camera.
Look at my time guys. This is amazing,
Claudia said.
Claudia stopped her frenzied jog and she walked forward slowly. Her heartbeat wildly in her chest and her breaths were fast and shallow.
Taking a break,
Claudia said.
Claudia continued her walk. She allowed her gaze to pass across the cheerfully decorated windows of the shops she passed.
Large cut outs of grinning turkeys, huge pumpkins, multicolored leaves and fruit-filled cornucopias decorated the windows of the establishments.
Claudia stopped in front of a huge bookstore. She peered through the glass and stared inside of the building’s dim interior.
Several tables of neatly arranged books had been placed on the floor in the center of the wide space.
A few customers stood near the tables and they clutched several books in their grasp while they gazed at the offerings on the platforms in front of them.
A large white sign had been placed on the floor in front of the center table.
The words ‘SALE EVERYHTING IN STORE 30% OFF!’ decorated the sign in large red letters.
Look guys. Martin’s Bookstore is having a sale,
Claudia said in a sing song voice.
Claudia turned away from the window and she took a step towards the weighted glass door of the bookstore.
During her movement forward, the front portion of her form suddenly collided with a tall, dark and hard object that moved rapidly in her direction.
The force of the unexpected collision threw Claudia’s body backwards and she was aware of her form falling just before her spine struck the cold hard asphalt of the sidewalk beneath her.
Hey!
Claudia cried.
Claudia looked up. And she saw a pale middle aged man standing in front of her.
The man was tall and slightly chubby. He had long blonde hair and pale skin that was marred with several faint scars along his hollow cheeks. Deep wrinkles creased the pale flesh near his eyes and mouth.
The scarred man’s eyes were a deep shade of blue and his slightly narrowed orbs were fixed on Claudia’s face with chilled intensity.
The man was dressed in a long antique coat of black wool. A blood red scarf had been placed loosely around his neck.
The blonde man raised his sight from Claudia before he walked around her fallen form and rushed away.
The sound of a heavy clank suddenly echoed from the ground a few inches above the right side of Claudia’s head.
Claudia sat up quickly and she turned around. She looked at the space behind her. And she watched the blonde man run clumsily across the cement pedway a few paces behind her.
The scarred man walked with a noticeable limp. And he did not turn around as he continued his movements forward. His head was lowered to the ground and his left leg dragged behind him during his quick steps.
You loser! You almost gave me a damned concussion! You need to watch where you’re going!
Claudia shouted.
The blonde man continued his movements forward and he rushed around a corner before he vanished from sight.
Weirdo. I’m seriously going to have to edit this out of the video. I can’t risk all of the falling memes,
Claudia said.
Claudia lowered her sight to the ground. And her eyes widened when she saw an old silver digital camera resting on the stone pedway atop its side a few paces near her.
The camera lay on the ground atop it side.
The square shaped object possessed several dents and scratches along its surface. The front portion of the device possessed a large circular lens of glass. And a large square-shaped digital screen decorated the rear of the machine.
Or maybe I won’t have to edit that creep from the video. What is this?
Claudia inquired.
Claudia rose to her feet slowly. She kept her gaze fixed on the digital camera.
An old camera,
Claudia said.
