power of the blood of Jesus. We are to give God our first fruit which is the product
of our best efforts.

Michael J. Davis

Michael Davis is a southern born ad breed gentleman. He was taught the value of God, family, and community. He was raised in the church from a young age. Sunday morning Church School and Sunday service were a weekly ritual. At the age of 12 he gave his life to Christ, with no idea what was in his future. He attended Melrose High School in Memphis, after which he attended the historical Fisk University in Nashville Tennessee where he earned a B.A. in Public Administration in 1980. After this formal education he enrolled in the school of life, where he was tested by hardship, challenges, and unforeseen difficulties. This was a training ground for what God had ahead. Character is molded by how you adapt to life’s impromptu situations.

INTRODUCTION

I have composed this collection of poetry that reveals some of God’s most

Promising and vital Biblical principles. From truth, to understanding and the

power of the blood of Jesus. We are to give God our first fruit which is the product

of our best efforts.

A morning devotion will start your day with God on your heart, Psalm 90:14 says

"Oh satisfy us early with your mercy, that we may rejoice and be glad all our

Days! Psalm 5:3 says, My voice You shall hear in the morning, O Lord; In the

morning I will direct it to You, And I will look up". The morning hours represent a

period of peace and tranquility, where you prepare your mind and your heart for

what is to come that day.

In the morning when we meet God with prayer and thanksgiving, His ear lends

Itself to our praise. When He speaks is a 90-day Devotional which allows you to

develop a regular and constant communication line with God that orchestrates a

connective environment. Like Psalm, Ecclesiastes, and the Songs of Solomon this

poetry connects with the heart. In Psalm 22:3 the word says, God inhabits the

praises of His people. Please allow this book to minister to your soul. God gave me

the gift of pen and paper to bring forth the power of His word. I pray that this

project will enlighten you; open your mind to God’s word and His spirit.
