Part One
The rain was falling on that chilly summer afternoon and I decided to lock my self up inside a bookstore to wait for the rain to stop so that I could make my way back home. School was fine, even though I didn't like it so much, especially the others students there. It seemed like they didn't get me, in a certain way, it seemed like nobody in the world got me. They say those feelings were normal to teenagers of my age, this feeling that nobody would understand us.
While the rain fell I decided to absorb myself in the books and see what was new. I admired writers because they could perfectly imprint everything that we felt inside books, pages upon pages.
Poets also inspired me, especially for the way that they transformed verses in love, hate and other feelings with such an exuberant ease.
While the rain poured from the sky I listened to the elevator music in the bookstore and thought, What the hell am I doing with my life?
