Lack of parental involvement is our main problem in rearing children. This Parenting Forever Workbook is intended to assist parents, grandparents and significant adults in the household who are involved in the important job of raising and educating children. Parents are children’s first and most influential teachers, good or bad. This Parenting Forever Workbook is designed to help and encourage parents to be actively involved in a positive way in their children’s education and development. Training sessions will be developed for parents to learn effective parenting skills during 7 modules consisting of 3 Saturdays. Parenting workshops and seminars will be structured around the parenting needs to assist parents to get involved and stay involved with their children’s development. These training parenting sessions will be a written agreement between the parents and the training facilitators. This workbook will set guidelines for parents to learn how to prepare their children for life.
Dr. Willie J. Greer Kimmons
Dr. Willie J. Greer Kimmons was born in Hernando, Mississippi and grew up in Memphis, Tennessee. He graduated from Frederick Douglass High School in Memphis, Tennessee. Dr. Kimmons received his Bachelor of Science degree in Health Education and Psychology from Lincoln University in Jefferson City, Missouri. His Master of Science degree in Curriculum and Instruction and his Doctorate degree in Education Administration and Supervision in Higher Education are both from Northern Illinois University in DeKalb, Illinois. Dr. Kimmons served as a first Lieutenant in the United States Army. Dr. Willie J. Greer Kimmons’ interest in parenting stems from a background of training and experience in the area of human development, leadership and community service. Dr. Kimmons has spent his entire career getting to root issues affecting today’s parents. He is the author of A Parenting Guidebook, which will serve as a resource to the Parenting Forever workbook. Dr. Gayle S. Ingraham was born in Nassau Bahamas. At the age of 13, family moved to Florida. After graduating high school, Dr. Ingraham received a Bachelor’s Degree in Criminal Justice from Tampa College, Master’s Degree in Educational Leadership from American Inter-Continental University and a Doctorate Degree in Educational Leadership from Argosy University. Dr. Ingraham established EmTim Training & Consulting Services, Inc., which is a non- profit organization providing a variety of consulting and training for community organizations, children and adults. Dr. Ingraham enjoys spending time with her parents, Pastors Cyril & Pandora Ingraham, her 2 adult children, (Tim & Emily), daughter in law (Nina) and her 3 grandchildren (Jashon, Xyleena & Nyana).

This Parenting Forever Workbook Training Program is dedicated to all the parents, grandparents and significant adults in the home. It is important to address our children problems while they are young and to assist them as they become older youth in society to become successful and crime free. The training program for parents will be 3 Saturdays, 8am-5pm, to provide useful strategies, suggestions and recommendations for them to learn how to be better parents for their children. There will be 7 well detailed training modules for parents to participate in during the 3 Saturdays. It doesn’t matter if the parent is rich or poor, young or old, married or single or formally educated or not, parents, grandparents or significant adults in the household is the most important person to that child. This is why this Parenting Forever Workbook is dedicated to parents and all concerned citizens and community leaders who are interested in the growth and development of children.
