    Wonder Visions - Naila Hina

    Naila Hina

    Mystery of Enderson Case

    Naila Hina

She was standing upside down close to wall in her favorite yoga position. When her elder sister called several times she still ignored her! It was her belief that if you take things as seriously as you ignore the neon signs and noise pollution on the streets, life can be heaven!

Now her sister was in the room but Neelam could only see her well pedicured feet in front of her eyes!

The phone bell started ringing suddenly but mobile was a bit far from her reach! So she searched for something and found a scale on side table near her and from that scale she managed to get the mobile phone closer to her and attended the call!

You still there! Hey, move girl, you gotta go now!

It was her class fellow on the call shouting to remind her the same what her sister was trying to do since hours. That is she had to attend the wedding ceremony of her class fellow from college in other city.

Neelum jumped to her feet not very willingly but as she had promised to her friend to attend the wedding she had to go.

Hey take your bag girl, I packed your things. What will you wear there without these ?

But Neelam was out of the door and house as well till now.

The train was full but she was in first class so felt alone after awhile. Bored she got out of the compartment and in the small corridor outside of room but inside the train.

    Suddenly the train stopped.

She busted right into another pessenger and cursed!

Hey! It’s not my fault. Are you blind ??

She heard a melodious male voice but was too proud to see or even reply to him!

On her way to dining hall she felt abit of tension in the train.

Cops were moving here and there. Someone might have pulled the chain to stop the train.

She carelessly entered the dining hall and acquired a table.

Another guy came and sat in front of her. It didn’t take any effort on her part to recognize the handsome man. He was the same who busted into her like a bulldozer a few moments ago. Although she had turned a blind eye towards him she definitely was a keen obersver!

I’m Ali Humza. And your good name please?

He enquired and she stared at him like he was joking.

    Pardon!

    She exclaimed.

I only know Ameer Hamza of Dastan e Ameer Hamza. The famous epic.

She continued. Some of her unmentionable parts were still aching!

Well Tilism e Hoshruba is my all times favorite too but we are facing other problems here really!

    He replied patiently.

Are you X-2 or Sherlock Holmes?

I’m both, two in one! I’m officer on duty here for the murder case of Enderson here! Inspector Ali Humza.

He showed his badge to her.

    So am I a suspect?

    She widened her big eyes.

No it’s normal. We are investigating everyone here in this train.

    Who died?

    She interrogated him instead.

Mrs. Enderson, inside the toilet of her compartment. It’s been sealed now. The area in under high security now.

    He explained. Watching her closely.

The guy was six feet three inches with well shaped athletic body and six packs. Green eyes were very deep and panetrating.

But rather than enjoying his beauty she asked:

Let’s look at the body. C’mon. She stood up and for a moment he got dumbfounded on her boldness.

I’m talking about the dead body Mister! She rolled her eyes.

And he literally blushed. Anyhow he followed her as though she knew the way!

After drawing first look at the body she hopped outside the train saying:

Let’s get going. We need to move fast!

Unbelievably he followed her outside the train as well as the railway station to his black Chevrolet Silverado. She fell on pessenger seat and ordered: Hotel blue star please.

    What! Why!

But she was in deep sleep as if she’s already in some five star hotel room or home!

Are we saving the universe now? How did you get the clue that hotel blue star has anything to do with the dead one?

    Enquired the inspector.

Have you not seen the little broach on Mrs Endersons sari?

It was a blue star, this hotel’s monogram!

She murmured carelessly. And Humza stared at her astonishingly.

Finally they reached the hotel Blue Star and he handed the car keys to the doorman and entered it.

It was a good hotel with fine dining and comfy rest rooms with great service.

Neelum went straight to a table. So he had no choice but to follow her.

There were two guys sitting on a table close by. One was tall and skinny and the other one was bald and bit fatty. Both were in deep conversation. They could hear the notes as the dining hall was almost empty as this was not lunchtime yet!

Tomorrow my dear. At 6 p.m. sharp.

On our boat, near mystery island! Be punctual!

The skinny guy gave his final orderer to the short Humpty Dumpty and he swayed his bald head in affirmation.

So what would you like to eat at this hour madam? Humza asked her but she stood up and on her way out she purposely smashed with the waiter passing by.

    Oh I’m sorry madam.

    The waiter apologized.

Blue Star! She hushed whispers in his ears and for a moment the waiter got confused
