ACKNOWLEDGMENTS
First and foremost, I would like to thank my Heavenly Father. You are the greatest, my provider, you are a supernatural God. You are my deliverer, my rock, my light, my everything for thee is none like thee or any God besides thee. Thank you, God, for giving me the ability, knowledge, and strength to write my first book.
To my son; Eric Wade, when you were born, I received a blessing that completely changed my life. You are my pride and joy, my heart and soul. I LOVE YOU.
To my siblings: Lakesha, Lilly, Grace, Donald, Derriel, Delmarcus, Jeremy. People said we would not make it without our Mom
they even said, we might fall on our face but fourteen years later, we are still standing.
We’ve been through a lot together. Just remember these four words: THIS TOO SHALL PASS. I LOVE Y’ALL.
To my Church Family, so much I can say, but I will keep it simple: Thanks for always being there for me and my family in our time of need. Most of all Thanks for the love and support.
A special thanks to my publisher, Urlink Print and Media and the entire staff especially Toni Black for believing in me and taking my book to a new level. I am so grateful for everything. Much Love.
INTRODUCTION
We all have dreams. I’m not talking about dreams at night when we fall asleep. I’m referring to the dream of success or achievement. God has given us something to do on this earth. We all have to meet those expectations, and God will make sure this will happen. My dream was to raise my son, get a decent job, and take care of my mother, such as paying bills and just helping her out. Little did I know that things would not be the same after 2005. What a wake-up call I had. God had a plan for me that was bigger than I could ever imagine.
My mother passed away in 2005, which left me depressed and saw me turn my back on God. My mom always told me that God would not put more on me than I could bear, but I felt that life had cheated me of my mother. I was twenty-seven at the time. I had my whole life ahead of me
